Guest guest
Hi Yes my vision does that too at times but only on close up things. I too feel like there is a second skin at times. Its a weird feeling. Where do you live in Canada ? Dianne Australia At 00:37 24/04/2001 -0700, you wrote: >Hi all, > >Recently I've been noticing a major sudden change in my vision. Guest guest
I am having a serious vision problem and am going to see an opthamologist thurs. I was curious if this is linked to mercury or even yeast. In andy's book there are some references to vision problems but I was wondering if this is what's going on with me. So far I learned formt he retinologist the other day that my retina lining is very thin in both eyes(not a detachment) He wants to do a preventive mantenancelaser surgery to seal the linings to prevent a tear. He also said there is something called lattice in both of my eyes too. I am in my 30's. I am also legally blind in one eye so this is really scary for me as my ability to focus is pretty hard and the light really hurts. anyone think it's related? and if yes, what should I suggest to the dr.? thanks, Carol

I can only give you the info and experience that I have, which does not sound exactly like what you are experiencing, but maybe it will help. I have VERY LONG eyes, causing severe myopia. I am legally blind without my glasses, and with my glasses I am correctable about 85% or so. I don't have good depth perception nor do I see well at night. Because my eyes are so long, my retinas are " stretched " [to use the word used by my eye care people]. I am cautioned at every appt to avoid severe sneezing and other activities that can jar my head. I also have my pupils dilated at every appt to check for further stretching and potential detachment, with an admonishment to report any instance of " seeing sparkles " . I also have floaters, which look like small pieces of string floating around inside my eye, which I am told is " common as people get older " , altho I have had them since my early 20s. All of the above info is from medical people who are " traditional " . Biomedical things I have done which have eliminated the floaters and also helped with the other issues are: enzymes [major help], multi-vitamin with higher doses of B vitamins and vitamin A, OLE for virus issues and GSE for yeast issues, and a few other things. The enzymes and multi-vitamin appear to be the ones which caused the most significant improvement. I have definitely noticed that it is difficult to focus my eyes if I miss my multi-vitamin for two days in a row. I NEVER miss my enzymes [major problems if I do, including the floaters]. Because all of those things are things which have been required for my metal-toxic kids, I would guess that metals might also cause my own issues, and perhaps yours also. I don't know if your doctor would be willing to consider that tho. Surgery has never been recommended to me " unless the retinas detach " , and I would definitely not rush into a surgery. Recently, quite a number of people have recommended that I consider the laser eye surgery to correct the myopia [my glasses look like bottle-bottoms, even tho they are the thinnest material available], but I still don't like the idea of surgery. I can certainly relate to your hesitation with this decision. Even tho I have been told since about age 8 that I would be " blind by 20 " and then " blind by 30 " , etc, I am still not blind and I am over 40. I have also not had my retinas detach. At my last appt, it was not recommended that I have a dilation at my next appt. My prescription had not increased much at all, one eye was actually the same rx as last time, the other eye was only slightly worse. A definite improvement. Good luck. Guest guest
There's a connection between mercury toxicity and photosensitivity. I an't recall, do you still have amalgam fillings or have you had them out? If you've had them out, are you cheltaing? If so, which chelator, how much, and what schedule? If you still have amalgam, I would suggest that you find a mercury-free dentist ASAP. My vision (myopia and astigmatism) was declining fairly rapidly until I had my mercury out. It then stabilized. I wouldn't recommend it, but I ended up with a strained neck when a 13-y.o. with autism with whom I worked yanked me to the ground by my hair when I blocked his way as he tried to run into traffic. The cranial sacral therapy I got for my neck caused a sudden improvement in my vision (from 20/300 in my left eye to 20/200, less dramatic in my right eye). The eye doc checked 4 times because he couldn't believe the difference. I don't know (doubt) that CST would help with retina thinning though. Guest guest
Dana, I think I read somewhere that these eye dilation drops had Thimerosal in them... Guest guest
vitamin A (start with a mega-dose, ie 300,000 or 400,000 IU over three of four days, then cut back to 10-20,000 Iu per day) and fish oil (esp EPA) are helpful. so are bilberry supplements. also include all kinds of berries in diet as much as possible

Guest guest
Hi , A few days ago, you posted some info on your right eye bothering you before and when I went to search for it I couldn't find it. It sounds like what's going on w/ me but in my left eye. I saw another post where you wrote about crossed vision, which is something I occasionally struggle with, although it seems to be getting better. Just wondering how long it took you to get your vision back, if you have. I also had an MSH of 8. My vision has improved since being on pregnenelone and DHEA for the last week and Armour for the last 2 days...but it still comes and goes. It seems to be clearer for longer periods of time though. What type of detoxing have you done? Did you go on antifungals? Have you had/have any digestion issues as well? Thanks. Love, PH
Guest guest
Hi PH!! You're a sweetie, thank you for getting back to me. I just saw a naturopath and she said that I'm definitely toxic from my implants, that my thyroid and liver are not doing there jobs (getting rid of the toxins) and that my lymphatic system and bladder are being effected as well. This all sounds about right but just wondering how effective these naturopaths are. I mean.. she found all this out by putting pressure on my arm and tapping me in different areas of my body. I figured I'd give it a shot. I'll do anything to feel better except hurt my growing baby of course. I'm going to e-mail Dr. Kolb because I'm a little worried about what the naturopath, Dr., in Las Vegas, prescribed me (all homeopathic so she said it wouldn't hurt the baby): silicone drops (to desensitize me to silicone), liverstem liquid, livaplex capsules, and parodid caspsules. I wouldn't mind giving it a shot after the baby but this all sorta scares me and it's not cheap. I've looked her up and she seems to know what she's talking about. I don't know though. I feel like calling her and telling her nevermind and cancel the homeopathic meds. I wanted to see a naturopath because I've looked at Dr. Kolb protocol and I don't know where to start, there are sooo many things to take and do. Of course, I'm not going to try any of this until the baby comes but I want to be ready. I don't want to waste one minute. Also, thank you for letting me know that preggos do experience eye problems. Unfortunately I had these probles before I concieved and after the implants that's how I know it's from the implants. Again, thank you for the advice and I will def. try what you said after the pregnancy. 7 more weeks...can't wait!! > > > > Carlin, > > I just met with Patty and Daryl for lunch, they are wonderful ladies!! Well, I'm havimg a lot of eye issues: light sensitivity, burning, pain behind my eye, dryness, hard time focusing etc. Patty was saying that you were having similar problems. Do you have any advice for me. I went to my regular eye doctor a few months back and they said I was fine. I was considering seeing an ophthalmologist but really have a feeling that I will be wasting my time and money again!! I will be explanted in December and hopefully this is something that clears up right away or gradually after the explant. Of course, I was in perfect health beforehand. Are you explanted? If so, how are your eyes now? Can't wait to hear from you and thank you for being there!! > > > > > > >
Guest guest
Hi , Your appt with your naturopath sounds all too familiar. I too had the same diagnoses from various naturopaths regarding my liver. My ND/MD said that anyone who has vision problems is likely to have liver problems because 1) hormones affect vision and the liver is a key organ in metabolizing hormones...if it's struggling, so will your vision...for many, not all 2) the liver/gallbladder meridian of the body goes from that organ up the back around the ears and to the eyes so again, if there are problems in that organ it can eaily affect the eye. I was on various homeopathics for a while but not long enough to see results. Sometimes wonder if I should have stayed on that protocol longer. I wish I could offer you some advice. I do think you're definitely better off seeing a naturopath or chiro who understands detox versus an MD who will just shrug their shoulders and say there is nothing they can do...sooooo NOT true! The human body KNOWS how to heal itself. You will heal but it will likely take some time as it is/has for most of us. Yes, Kolb's protocol is overwhelming. I think she knows her stuff and is on the right track with detox but each individual has to choose what is best for their situation because even though we are a lot alike, we may also be dealing with various infections/levels of chemicals in different organs of the body. In your situation, I think the gentler the route, the better since you are pregnant. No heavy detoxing, just really good healthy eating and taking care of yourself for the baby. Early on one of my docs said to focus on the ways your body naturally detoxes (breathe in and out deeply each day, skin brush, drink water for the kidneys and make sure the bowels are regular). Definitely get a second opinion from Kolb or another with the homeopathics although from everything my uncle told me about homepathics, they are very effective and completely harmless. Hang in there...7 weeks is just around the corner! PH > > > > > > Carlin, > > > I just met with Patty and Daryl for lunch, they are wonderful ladies!!
