Yeast/Bacteria treatment-DAN! conference

Some people had asked about treating yeast and bacteria. This

was discussed at the recent DAN! conference in DC. This is

what Dr. McCandless is doing. This is posted with her

permission.

" In answer to the gut-pathogen treatment: I give Diflucan

4-5mg/kg daily dose (given 1/2 twice daily) for three weeks to a

month (depending on the severity of the gut numbers on the

OAT) and start the flagyl (metronidazole at 35-50mg/kg daily

dose (also given 1/2 twice daily) for 10 days, starting both at the

same time. I suggest two Klaire Ther-Biotics Complete during

this treatment (one a day for maintenance, but two a day during

treatment and for 10 days following).-----Good luck! If die-off is

tough, some activated charcoal will help get rid of the toxins. You

can get that at any drug store. Dr. JM "

(Ther-biotics Complete--I have no idea what this product is, but I

doubt that it is legal. Remember all supplement use is an

individual choice based on what a parent feels is right for his/her

child.)
