Personally, I do not trust ANY fast food restaurant. While the ingredients

may be GFCF, & they may use different fryers for that food, who knows if they

mix the oil together at the end of the day or what. I simply can't trust such

a huge issue like this to a bunch of teenagers who couldn't give a crap less

about my child's diet. Yes, I used to work at a fast food place (many moons

ago) & I know what goes on there. Maybe that's why I won't trust them.

Hello!

I'm a newbie to your list. No newbie to autism (two children), but newbie to

gfcf. Does anyone know if Mc's Hash Browns are truly gfcf? They are

listed as okay on the gfcfdiet.com website, however, my coordinator and several

friends have questioned it.

Thanks! AQ

In Australia they state in the Mcs manual of food contents which you

can always ask for at any Mcs store that the hash browns are NOT

gluten free. The fries and meat patties are. The only worry is the cooking

of fries in the oil used to cook the hash browns.

In parts of CA and maybe a few other states, there is a fast food chain

called In N Out Burger that serves hamburgers and french fries and drinks

ONLY. They can't mix the oil with wheat contaminated oil, because they fry

only potatoes in all of their oil. Maybe there are similar restaurants

elsewhere.
