Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I check this group several times a day! I'm still " probable MS " and can't afford further testing at this time. You are all my " friends and family " . I'm sorry I can't contribute much of anything in the way of advice or help, but you are all in my prayers that we can at least halt the progress of this disease! Guest guest
Kate, Thanks for the advice. I will get some Emergen-C for Hannah this weekend. I have been pushing multivitamins, fruit, veggies and herbal teas on her. She has lost over 11 pounds in the past 6 weeks so I am offering her food all the time. A neighbor asked me the other day if she had an eating disorder---No, just mono!! Stay warm, Connie From: MSersLife [mailto:MSersLife ] On Behalf Of katelloydkidz@... Guest guest
Reading – even if busy...MS have been treating me and fairly nicely. One new symptom (pressure to one leg was "registered" as heat), but it went away within 24 hours. Nothing else. Time for the yearly visit with the neuro, should get that scheduled as soon as possible (in fact, they should have got it scheduled, and let us know, but they haven't, so we'll have to look into that). love/Reb>> I'm trying to see how many people are reading this group. Guest guest
Hello everyone, I look forward to getting to know all of you. I hope and pray for all of us to be doing well without any exacerbations. I go see my Neuro on Mar 25. I've been having some problems, the main is an electrical shock feeling going across the top of my head and down my spine. When that feeling is over, very dizzy. However, on a good note, when I had my last visit, she actually said the word remission and she hadn't said that in years! Plus she changed my visits from every 3 months to every 6 months. Things in the MS part of my life is so much better since I took early retirement from my job and moved away from the roommate from H#$%. I just wish I could sleep more than a couple of hours at a time. Here's something that I say to myself everyday, sometimes several times a day, it's a quote from Tecumseh, the ee Chief: "When you awake in the morning, give thanks for the morning light, give thanks for your strength and your life. Give thanks for your food and for the joy of living. If you can find no reason to give thanks, the fault lies within you." This helps me to remember that no matter how bad things get, they will always get better. I hope It helps you too. Hope and prayers for everyone, Tina Subject: Re: Check In Please! To: MSersLife Date: Monday, March 9, 2009, 11:00 AM Reading – even if busy...MS have been treating me and fairly nicely. Guest guest
She got the letter with the appointment today â€" it's on the morning of the 31 of March. The exact same time as my appointment for MR of my knee, in a hospital some 100 km away... It's unfortunate that I won't be able to go with her (and unfortunate that she won't be able to go with me either), but that's life I suppose. Having trouble co-ordinating your hospital appointments - does that mean you are getting old? ;0) Sort of like what we said once at the local IKEA, when we looked at a medicine cabinet and immediately (and simultaneously) concluded: WAY too small... "That's a striking image of aging. You go from 'A cabinet? For band-aids and aspirins, why would I need a cabinet for that?" via the standard medicine cabinet, to 'Does that come in wardrobe-size?' ".... Well, well, we'll just have to abide without eachother in the respective hospitals, and hope that the co-ordination of that will work better in the future. love/Reb> & gt;> & gt; I'm trying to see how many people are reading this group. My needles were in a small safe in the fridge. I hate being on a lot of meds.
