Guest guest
This is a great site. Thank you so much! Any advice on which flours to choose? For example, should almond flour be blanched or natural? Does it make a difference nutrition or baking-wise? Are they all SCD legal? Thanks again. " Almond flour and hazelnut flour should be blanched. The other nuts are not blanched. Just be sure to order flour that is made from plain nuts. You don't want any that have been salted or roasted. Guest guest
I was told by other mom's that their flours are o.k. I'm not sure about almond. We don't use it due to reactions from salicylates. I ordered the cashew and it is just made to flour with raw cashews. I also use pecan and hazelnut from Whole Foods with no problems or reactions.
