Guest guest
Memory/thinking problems? Yes, definitely. It's a very common effect as you get more advanced chronic renal insufficiency, and it continues into dialysis. Some people who have had transplants say it all comes back, though. In milder cases of IgAN, I imagine it can be an effect of many medications. Pierre Re: ADVICE PLEASE > Amy, I just thought my lack of concentration was just me getting older and stupider, that maybe I was just getting lazier. At one point I was a pharmacy major. Then I got slammed w/the effects of IgAN and the work just got too hard. Couldn't think straight or remember things like I used to, and I was tired all the time. I'm finishing a business degree now and let me tell you, each semester just about kills me. Homework takes FOREVER! Do you think perhaps it's an after effect of the steroids or the disease in general? Anyone else noticed memory/thinking problems?
