Guest guest
Hi everyone,It's been a while since I've visited this board, my soon to be 3 year old, 35lbs son just started Valtrex, Difflucan & is on his way to complete 40 dives of HBOT. I've grinded up his Valtrex & Difflucan so that I can mix it in his peach purée (it disguises the bitter tastes in vitamins & meds for him). He's taking 250 to 500 mg of Valtrex 3 times per day and Difflucan 50mg once per day. ***Can someone tell me if it's ok to mix both valtrex & difflucan with food and vitamins??*** After the 6th dive his little bit of speech became more clearer, 3 weeks later we tried the valtrex mixed with the Difflucan, hours later he started to asking for toys, paint, stamps, juice...extremely shocking! He has also been taking the following for over 6 months now: Enhansa (2x's per day twice per week) B12 shots (twice a week) Gluthadione cream (2x'sper week) GF/CF for over a year now Here are all his supplements: ***Can anyone please tell me if this is the best recommendable order to administer his vitamins, I recently read on this post that I shouldn't use "Zinc" with the probiotics and some of the other vitamins??*** Breakfast: l-carnitine with Acetyl & without Zinc Vitamin E Speak (1st dose) Klaire's Micellized A (double 0.5ml dose) saw eye improvement, thanks to this board's suggestion!!! Houston's TriEnzymes Omega 3 by new beginnings Klaires Probiotics Carlson's B6 Klaires Multivitamin Spectrum Lunch: Klaires Taurine D3 Houston's TriEnzyme (2nd dose)Klaires Probiotic (2nd dose) Vitamin E Speak (2nd dose) Dinner Klaires TMG Klaires MethylFolate Vegan Protein powder Omega3 (2nd dose) Houston's TriEnzyme (3rd dose) Vitamin E Speak (3rd dose) Before bed Calcium with Almond Milk Epsom salt baths My main concern is he's constantly "VOICE STIMMING", making animal sounds, very "ECOLALIC", his eye contact could be better, doesn't respond to his name all the time and has never called for us for help (Mommy nor Daddy). He has zero conversation skills, can't tell me when he's about to potty (major current issue for me) He has started to ask for a few things after the HBOT/Valtrex/Difflucan...only time will tell I guess? He also some O.T, Play Therapy, Speech Therapy, HippoTherapy, Therapeutic Listening Therapy, Swimming Therapy, ABA. Thank goodness for refinancing. Now I'm looking into this "BRAIN BALANCE Center" and another one called "NEUROFEEDBACK" not sure if anyone can share any experiences about these type of Therapies??? I think I've pretty much exhausted all of my options here, not sure what else to try to help my one and only miracle child. I'm just a desperate Mom striving to share a success recovery story someday and have the honor to help somebody like most of the geniunely hearted individuals on this board. I use to be a happy go lucky person and never knew what depression was up until now but I do try to maintain strong & show positive outlook for my family...and I know you've all been in my shoes from time to time. Thank you so much for your time,Irma
Guest guest
Hi Irma, The Valtrex you can give with any juice/fruit, but the Diflucan I think is best to give away from digestive enzymes. I usually give it before he goes to sleep with his probiotic. Its also good to give the probiotic an hour after eating and away from Digestive enzymes (my DAN recommended this and says they would cacel each other out if given together). Can't help you with the rest as we are in the same situation as you, still learning and trying everything one step at a time, seeing definite improvements but nowhere even close to being healed. Just know that there are so many of us who are in the same position, and and are going through the same emotions! There are days where I can't stop crying but there are also days when I feel fiercely lucky to have such a wonderful amazing boy and I just want to put my Mama warrior armour on and fight for him! You are already doing so much for your child and sounds like your doing a great job! He has also been taking the following for over 6 months now: Enhansa (2x's per day twice per week) B12 shots (twice a week) Gluthadione cream (2x'sper week) GF/CF for over a year now Here are all his supplements: ***Can anyone please tell me if this is the best recommendable order to administer his vitamins, I recently read on this post that I shouldn't use " Zinc " with the probiotics and some of the other vitamins??*** Breakfast: l-carnitine with Acetyl & without Zinc Vitamin E Speak (1st dose) Klaire's Micellized A (double 0.5ml dose) saw eye improvement, thanks to this board's suggestion!!! Houston's TriEnzymes Omega 3 by new beginnings Klaires Probiotics Carlson's B6 Klaires Multivitamin Spectrum Lunch: Klaires Taurine D3 Houston's TriEnzyme (2nd dose)Klaires Probiotic (2nd dose) Vitamin E Speak (2nd dose) Dinner Klaires TMG Klaires MethylFolate Vegan Protein powder Omega3 (2nd dose) Houston's TriEnzyme (3rd dose) Vitamin E Speak (3rd dose) Before bed Calcium with Almond Milk Epsom salt baths My main concern is he's constantly " VOICE STIMMING " , making animal sounds, very " ECOLALIC " , his eye contact could be better, doesn't respond to his name all the time and has never called for us for help (Mommy nor Daddy). Now I'm looking into this " BRAIN BALANCE Center " and another one called " NEUROFEEDBACK " not sure if anyone can share any experiences about these type of Therapies??? I think I've pretty much exhausted all of my options here, not sure what else to try to help my one and only miracle child. I'm just a desperate Mom striving to share a success recovery story someday and have the honor to help somebody like most of the geniunely hearted individuals on this board. I use to be a happy go lucky person and never knew what depression was up until now but I do try to maintain strong & show positive outlook for my family...and I know you've all been in my shoes from time to time. Thank you so much for your time,Irma
