Leanne,

So glad you got them out... I was flat as a pancake after explant... It does take time to fluff out...Up to a year... You should fluff nicely in a few months, then slowly for the next year.. So glad there gone..

God Bless,

Leanne,Congradulations! . . . I'm glad to hear he was able to get virtually everything out! . . . Your body is going to be filling in those empty socks over the next year . . . So don't get depressed! Please rest all you can . . . even if you feel like doing more . .. I remember one woman who went to the mall to shop the day after her explant! . . . Hugs,Rogene

Hey Leanne- It's sooooooo good to hear from you! I'm so glad the worst

is over for you! Yeah!

I remember seeing my boobs for the first time and feeling like I was

going to cry! I promise they change A LOT! I had NOTHING there when I

got out of surgery, but slowly I am getting breast tissue back....it

really is amazing. So, hang in there...I am 5 weeks post-op now and my

boobs look nothing like they did for the first 2 weeks.

Love, Krista

Leanne, honey, we are so happy for you. The day that you had your surgery, I was thinking about you. Please do not do too much and get plenty of rest. This is your time to heal, and allow other people to help you to get through this busy time of year.

Sending love and special healing....Lea

Hi Girls,Am a bit out of it with all of the drugs they pumped into me,got home a few hours ago. Guess what ?? he took them out enbloc after all,and removed them through my nipple. He said he got ALMOST all of the capsule, but some was very thn on my chest wall and too risky. Am a little upset about that, but I really do feel he did the best possible job he could. He is sending everything to pathology, and will find out the condition of capsules. He did not need to use drains ,he said there was very little fluid . Took a peak at my boobies and could not help but be a little sad...they are very deflated just like a balloon inside has popped, but left with some breast tissue. KInd of like a nylon with a little ball at the foot just kind of hanging there. Oh well I am on my way to being healthy now. As I was getting my IV, All I could think of was Dede's comment about the margharita iv and it made me smile. Thank's Dede you are a real angel.Love and hugsLeanne
