Update:This is so Frustrating!!!

Well, I got an e-mail yesterday from Dr. Lenz, Bert's proposed new

oncologist (Jodi, you were so right...he does respond without having

to be contacted over and over again). The doctor basically said in

his e-mail that he is as confused as we are!!! He too, and from all

indications, thought Bert had approximately another 2 months to go

because the dosage was reduced and because he did miss to treatments

in cycle two. He is looking forward to seeing us January 8, 2004 and

to sit down in " peace " and discuss this whole issue. That's the

latest. More will be posted as more develops. In the meantime, this

week Bert will see his current onc one last time to get his " last "

treatment based on the 3 cycles of 6 weeks each 5fu/leuc. We'll see

what happens next.
