LOL I did post about my son's behaviors recently... they have been ongoing and did not escalate due to using casein... FWIW his behavior was probably best the week I was giving him a cube of cheese a day. Just wanted to re-iterate that since I was complaining about his behavior. ;-) --- ToniTo: mb12 valtrex Sent: Sat, October 2, 2010 4:40:13 PMSubject: Re: regarding GFCF

We were CF for several months. I thought I saw improvement, but wasn't sure, since we jumped in and did a lot of things at once.We are now having occasional contact with casein. They are on enzymes. They both really hate their calcium supplements and are great about taking all their other ones. And my son loves cheese, probably more than most other foods we took out (including wheat!) So we've used goat's milk cheddar (raw) from Whole Foods without ill effects, it seems. --- ToniFrom: Ratan Sharma

I have a comment and few questions for our Listees. Why is the topic of GLA never discussed for its role in controlling hyperactivity?Regarding GFCF, I used to think that whey protein powder and butter are always casein free. But Karyn Seroussi writing a chapter in Dr. Shaw's book Biological Treatment For Autism And PDD advises us to stop even butter and whey. She also advises to check if Lactobacillus probiotic has been grown on yoghurt.I

think we need not go that far in the case of most kids. Right or not? Can't we continue butter and whey at least? Aren't these casein free? Please correct me.Note: Sorry, in my previous mail I didn't change the Subject line; so this repeat mail.-----------Ratan Singh, Phone: 91 141 2652561, mail: ratanpsych@...- Certificate in Food & Nutrition; Diploma in Nutrition and Health Education; Life Member, Nutrition Soc. of India; Member ISOM- Author of "Nutrition & Supplements in Major Mental Illnesses";- M.A. (Psychol), Postgraduate Diploma in Medical & Social Psychology, Ph.D.;- Certified Behavior Therapist (from late Prof. J.
