Guest guest
I figured it out-it's very, very simple! Go to the website www.iga.ca and click on " Help support this site " -it's right on the front page. Then you enter the information-if you don't have a Paypal account there will be an option to set one up. It is all very simple. Thanks again, Pierre, for all you do (and all the other moderators). Guest guest
A few of you have written me off line about donations. I am so sorry that I neglected to write how to donate. If you go to www.igan.ca on the left hand menu, at the bottom there is a link that says " help to support this site. " The web address is http://www.igan.ca/id62.htm Click on that link, then there are four options. PayPal in US Dollars, Canadian Dollars, Euros and Pounds Sterling. By donating this way, Pierre can use the funds to offset his costs for both the yahoo and the www.igan.ca sites, both of which he funds. Thank you so much to each of you who has expressed a willingness to help in this way. There are so many of us that if we can all pitch in, Pierre will not have the burden on his own. Last year, I think fewer than ten people were willing to help. I hope that more of you can consider participating this year. Every little bit really makes a difference. Again, I thank all of you for your consideration.
Guest guest
can you send Pierre's address privately so I can send a donation. I do not use PenPal. Jack (NY)
Guest guest
You can use paypal with any credit card - you just set up an account - it's easy and secure. It's what most payments on ebay use, etc. Re: Donations can you send Pierre's address privately so I can send a donation. I do not use PenPal. Guest guest
Sorry, I hadn't realised that the site was maintained using Pierre's own funds .... I've sent something with paypal - I've found this site, this group and particularly Pierre and yourself, , and the other of course, to be particularly helpful in finding out about IgAN and helping me come to terms with the diagnosis. Many thanks to you all Dave Re: Donations A few of you have written me off line about donations. I am so sorry that I neglected to write how to donate. Guest guest
Hi Jack, I have asked Pierre for his private address. I do not have it. If he feels comfortable, I will pass it along, and I did want to extend my thanks for your willingness to help donate to the site.

Guest guest
Hi Ray, Thanks for asking how to donate. I forget to mention that minor detail when I make my semiannual plea for us all (myself included) to help Pierre. To donate, you can easily do so through out sister site at www.igan.ca. Once there, on the bottom of the left hand menu, there is a button which says donations. Click on that and it will take you to PayPal where you can choose between US dollars, Euros, or Canadian dollars. You can use an ATM card if it has a MasterCard or visa logo on it, or any credit card. I think there is also a way to have it transferred from an account, but I have never done that. I just use my debit card and it is very easy. Thank you to each one who is taking this call for help to heart and contributing.

Guest guest
I think the idea of a " Thanks to our Donors " page on the website with first name and last initial sounds great! I wouldn't be adverse to it at all. ) Is the extra $100 on a monthly basis or yearly?? I have no problem adding a bit more to my regular monthly contribution. The other site I have been supporting has found a server to donate their new space (thru a friend of a friend sort of thing) so they no longer need contributions on a regular basis. Thanks for putting out a call, the work you do with the site is a lifeline for so many. We need to keep it up and running....just think if only 20 of the 1000 or so people here donate a mere $5 each we have you covered.
