Guest guest
My daughter 5 year old has just switched from Valtrex to Favir 2 weeks ago. This weekend on saturday and sunday we forgot her lunchtime dose (1 1/4 125mg x3 daily). To our surprise yesterday(wednesday) my daughter woke up and seemed a different child, so 'on', more verbal(severe apraxia), more intelligent thought processing and ideas. I was scratching my head to think what could have caused this, when we switched I did not think it had made any difference. Then I thought could it be the stopping/less of the dose and I remember Stan on this site had mentioned that many parents pulse with their anti-virals. Any thoughts on this would be most welcome for those who do it and get better results and what they used and for how long. Or would it be better to up the dose. I have a feeling our DR might not go for pulsing but if these are the results we could get, it has got me thinking about doing a test run and would need some guidance with that. Thanks Lindy
