Guest guest
Hi , I wonder what your boy is eating as well after 7 months. To naturally combat candida, I give my little one good ol' guacamole to dip her chicken fingers. My dr calls it " your candida bomb " . But you only want to give it if he's already at the stage where he can handle raw veggies. Here it is: 2 ripe avocados 2 garlic cloves 1/2 onion a bunch of cilantro juice of a lemon salt, pepper, origan bit of olive oil Put everything in mixer and that's it! It's very tasty good luck. , mom to 5 ASD and 2 NT gut issues, SCD since nov 5
Guest guest
Hi Shiela, Sam eats chicken, turkey, lamb, beef, zucchini, sqash, carrots, cucumber, lettuce. If I can I try to sneak in some cauliflower and broccoli. He was having cashew bread and honey, but since the tests came back I've stopped honey. He was eating banana, but I've now also stopped that. I juices for him every day fruit & veggies. Say today I juices 1 kg of apples, 1 kg of carrots, 1 lemon, 2 stalks of celery, ginger root. Sometimes I use spinach. I alternate apples for pears. This makes up about 1 tire of juice and he will drink this diluted during the day. > Hi , > > What is Sam eating and how are his stools. Guest guest
Hi , Another quick question first How are his stools? Any change since SCD? What probiotic and how much? Any supplements Hmm, sorry that wasn't one question. Sheila > Hi Shiela, > > Sam eats chicken, turkey, lamb, beef, zucchini, sqash, carrots, > cucumber, lettuce. Guest guest
Hi Shiela, I stopped honey and have reduced friut so stools are a lot better now. Before the change they were loose and light coloured and grainy. Pre SCD Sam had on and off D. Since SCD they have been better, lots of trophy's but he still has D from time to time. I can usually pin point he culprit food. I use the custom probiotics L acidophilus powder. I small scoop in the morning and 1 at night. He was using the Thropps Enzyme but we stopped about 1 month ago. -- In pecanbread , " Sheila Trenholm " <sheilat@r...> wrote: > Hi , > > Another quick question first > > How are his stools? > Any change since SCD? > > What probiotic and how much? Guest guest
Hi again , Just reread your posts and see that you are restarting yogurt. That should help with the candida along with reducing the fruit and honey and may be more effective than the probiotics alone. Slow and steady improvement is a really good thing. I occasionally do the garlic and onion thing - for impending colds & flus ( I didn't as much this winter and paid for it.) I also use ginger. I don't know if that helps with candida but it certainly helps wipe out other stuff. I either make a tea with it (strain out the ginger after steeping) or through it in with the onion, garlic and a little cayeene. Awful tasting but effective. Again I am not sure if that will also help with the candida. I haven't any suggestions about the copper and zinc, but hope others will give advice on this.
