I wish you good luck. I have been trying to find a plastic surgeon to remove a place on my hand though and cannot find anyone who is not booked through the end of the year. I guess so many are trying to get procedures that are covered by insurance done before Jan 1...

Maybe someone on here knows someone who could pull some strings for you...

Well if I don't get an email today I guess I'll call her. Yeah funds aren't so good for me either. I'm currently paying of a credit card bill that has my implant surgery still on it, tons of classes I took while doing massage AND my EX husbands laser eye surgery. That alone could have paid for my explant. But we separated, he disappeared and left me to pay for his crap. I hear he's now a citizen of Canada and has remarried to some woman footing his bills all over again. So it's looking like I'm gonna have to finance this if it's over 6,000. But how do you know until after the fact? Uh, I don't know. All I know is, I feel as though in the last week my symptoms have gotten worse. Could be because my period is close, or now that I'm aware of what's causing them I could be physcosomatically making them worse. I hope I hear from her soon. toxicsalines@... wrote: I know Dr. Kolb did an emergency surgery for me, it was 3 weeks out... ,Once they make a connection with their implants, women seem to notice them more, and they seem worse . . . And, symptoms seem to get worse around the time of their period. . . . The problems is that stressing over all of this makes things worse. . . It calls for learning some mental gymnastics to shield ourselves from negatives and concentrate on the positives. . . I'd suggest Silva Mind Control . . . There is a free online mini course that has an excellent guided relaxation session - I'm thinking it's in the second lesson. Very powerful stuff! . . . That's how Dede makes it through day after day of helping her father while managing her own health issues. . . .

Hi ,

I saw Dr. Kolb and she was able to get me in within a week. She

charged $11,500 for explant and lift, most of which insurance

covered. I think I paid a total of $800 for the surgery!...I really

lucked out there. I'm not sure what kind of insurance you have but

Kolb's office is very good about contacting your ins company and

saying it's a medical necessity that you have your implants removed.

She's usually good about returning calls, although it's usually about

11 p.m. by the time she gets through seeing patients. I talked to

her a few times at midnight!

Good luck! - PH

I have Guardian, Medcost. Not sure if they would pay for anything being that they only pay for 10 chiro visits a year. They are very greedy. But I hope Dr. Kolb could work them over. LOL $11,500 is alot to have to finance or put on a credit card. perfecthealth68 <perfecthealth68@...> wrote: Hi ,I saw Dr. Kolb and she was able to get me in within a week. I would go and get it done... The surgery is not as bad as getting the toxic bags... I thought way easier to get explant... In a short time you will be laying on your stomach, thinking thank God I am natural..... I would not wait for this surgery...

The only way you'll know is to give Dr. Kolb your insurance information. She will know if they cover explants for medical necessity.

In the long run, it's a lot cheaper for insurance companies to remove implants, without replacement than it is for women to continue to be sick for year after year.

As long as the FDA claims implants are safe, it should be law that removal for medical necessity is covered by insurance.

Jenn,

Three weeks is enough to be back on your feet unless you are doing some major lifting and heavy physical work.

I don't know what you do, but you may want to reconsider Dr. Melmed. . .

Jenn,

I think the risk of waiting is greater than getting done, then having to report sick for a little while . . .

I know there's a element of shock all the way around . . . orders, surgery, schedule changes, etc. . . It will all work out . . .

Please do it, regardless of what it does to your schedule . . . .

I'm sure you're thinking of all the things you need to be doing . . . When I broke my arm, it was a major scheduling event . .. But I got through it! . . . You will too.

Hugs,

Rogene

PH,

I Love it that Dr. Kolb see's her patience past five oclock... I remember when I was there I was in the office at 9 pm, thinking Wow this is a first... She is my Angel....

Rogene,

I agree totally.... Since I got explant one day, my bf drove me home the next day for 8 hours, then the following day I took care of myself... No big deal.... Nothing like getting implants, totally easier.. If no heavy lifting it would be no problem...

I pray you get them out now... Don't wait you have to believe that you could start to go downhill fast and do way more damage to your body.. I wished I had mine out the day after getting them...

God Bless,

Jenn,

I am so glad... I know when I found this site, I couldn't get them out fast enough... Get R Done was my big word.. You are doing the right thing... I can tell you that I had my implants for little over a year and I was bed ridden by then.... In one year, they could do so much more damage.... Your health is so worth it... I am so glad your hubby said NOW....

Thank God,
