Guest guest
Had a pretty neat ultrasound today - 19 weeks, 4 days. I've posted a picture under " Ultrasounds " . The picture is definitely not as detailed as what we saw on the screen. It's amazing how much growth happens in such a short time! Every time the US tech got around the legs, he would zoom out again quickly, and DH kept saying: go back! But there is absolutely NO way the tech is legally allowed to even get close to divulging the sex - he kept saying he would lose his job by even hinting. There are signsposred all over the radiology department about the laws in B.C., Canada and the lack of necessity to know the baby's sex unless for medical reasons. He's not even allowed to put it into his report! My OB did say she would tell us, so I guess she will try on her crappy US machine in her office to make it out (or not!). It's not that important (I just want a healthy baby, boy or girl), but we would have been excited to find out. At any rate, we got to see a lot of movement and details, and I am just amazed. Now I will wait to feel this little one start kicking. The tech is also only allowed to say: " everything looks good, everything is on target for dates, nothing out of the ordinary seen, measurments all look good " . How's that for diplomacy? He couldn't even give me cervix measurements other than to say both look good. So, I will have to ask my OB on Thursday for more details - like HOW good are my cervices looking? Thanks for listening, SU resected, bicollis _________________________________________________________________ MSN 8 helps eliminate e-mail viruses.
