Guest guest
Good Morning! I'm glad, then, Zanna, you went to the party! Hearing such positive things helps the spirit, and that helps the body. The boss is a keeper, too Question for all: How many of you feel your best in the morning and your worst in the afternoon/evening? (assuming you get a somewhat decent night's sleep) Question 2: For those of you who are able to get in some exercise, how do you feel after exercise? Worse, better or same? Any kind of exercise. Question 3; How do you feel after being on your feet more than, say, a half-hour or an hour? Thanks!
Guest guest
Hi - To your #3 --- I " vibrate. " It's not a great feeling either! Interesting to feel the muscles behind the thigh, too...they protest a lost. And if I have a long walk, even with the CPK down and feeling better, I use my cane. Usually, my a.m. is great. When I take my evening dose of Prednisolone, I come down a bit. No real problem sleeping, though. I still get really tired at work, midday, and have to watch that the peepers don't shut for too long! Gosh, how embarrassing. Exercise...sheesh...that's next. Think I shall try Yoga and Tai Chi again. I thought, just for the heck of it one day I'll put on my Tae-Bo tape...hey, y'all wanna take bets on how long I'll last?? Come on, give it a shot....and that'll give me motivation. Now I don't do the kicking part cause of the OA in my knees...I kinda really modified it...ok, place your bets!! LOL! Guest guest
Hi . Well, I think you should know that I'm still pouting about your response to my point about FedEx delivering to Canada, but in spite of this I'll try to answer your questions. #1 I seem to be a little more active in the morning, but nothing major. What I do note is that my eyes are much more " tired " in the evening -- I need bright light in order to read much, and read better with glasses than with my contacts. Part of this, of course, is due to my getting older, but my eye doctor tells me he has some other patients with the same general type of experience when they change their medicine dosage. #2 I get tired after exercise. More so than before I got sick. I do both mild aerobic and weights now. What I find is that I feel more " wasted " after the weights than the cycles. Perhaps I have a bit more problems now with my inner thermostat, but after a full weight routine (and that's not very full, 'cause I HATE weightlifting!!!) I really have the symptoms of overheating, and have to take it easy for a few minutes. Since the weights do improve my strength, I would say in the long run the exercise must be good for me, and makes me feel better. #3 This is really a question about whether or not it is safe to do Christmas shopping, isn't it? If I'm in a shopping mall, after a half hour I want out. If I'm going for a walk, no problems at all. Hope this helps. Stay warm.
