Hi Jacqui, Vicki and Ed,

Informative post, Jacqui...thanks! I agree, I put up

quite a fuss about the Prednisolone, but now that I'm

on it, I can handle the dreaded side effects cause I

am feeling better - viva la difference!

While I'm not allergic to bee stings...I was stung

mid-summer by a mosquito right on my left eyebrow and

to this day, that area is red. I doubt it will ever

fade. Of course, we have the West Nile virus to worry

about, but I always wondered about the bite. I

created a history of me since getting the DM and have

included it, but so far, no one's made mention of it.

But it's a curious thing all right!

Ed, what are ya gonna have to do to light a fire under

those military medicos?? Methinks we ought to write a

letter to the base commander on your

behalf...lol...wouldn't you love that??? Yikes!

Happy Sunday, gang! I carried some stuff I shouldn't

have...lol...stubborn old woman! Gonna rest a bit.

Cheers,

Lynn

Prednisolone is the liquid form. I also take Zantac

to protect my stomach.

Lynn... Is there a difference between prednisone and prednosolone? I've

never heard of the second until I saw it mentioned two or three times on

these postings. Annette
