Guest guest
Hi Lynn, I've read that when you go off a statin drug, symptoms should resolve in time. But, I've also read on the MAA bulletin board at least one person(maybe more, not sure)has remained dealing with myo for some time after going off the drug. It's probably one of those questions with no good answer, but hopefully you'll be in the majority who get and stay OK! (if it is the majority) Anne-Marie, how do you know what is the fibromyalgia and what is the PM? Or don't you? My husband and I went to finish Christmas shopping last night(almost done). I felt fairly energetic when we got to the stores, but after an hour and a half my legs, hips, and back were killing me- terribly fatigued, pain etc. By the time we got home at 10 PM ( half-hour drive), I'd had it. Thank goodness my husband told me to go right in the hosue and sit down and put my legs up- that's about all I wanted to do! I could barely make it up the stairs. Felt absolutely miserable. Now I feel better after resting and sleeping some last night. So discouraging. Vicki and Zanna- such a shame you both paid such a price for having some fun and doing " normal " things- I hope you both feel better soon.Zanna, don't go to the office party unless you truly feel up to it, OK? You said you got a 4-pack of Claritin- I tried it once or twice. You take one pill a day, or is it 2? It didnt help my allergies nearly as much as my old standby, hydroxyzine(Atarax). As well as being an antihistamine, hydroxy is also used as a pre-op med and for anxiety. I'm so used to it after 15 years that it doesn't have those effects on me Maybe in much higher dosages... Guest guest
Hi , The claritin is twice a day. I haven't used it yet. I did go to the office party tonight. It was very nice. I met my husband's new boss. I am so glad I did. My husband has been with the company for almost 13 years and has been a manager for 3. He is a workaholic and an absolute perfectionist. His old boss was YUK!! Never had anything nice to say. New boss, a big plus. He knew my name, our kids names and complimented my husband's work a couple of times. Said he was a keeper!! It is nice to hear good things finally. He also took away the keys of one of their co-workers who had had too much to drink and bought him a hotel room where the party was at and instructed the front desk not to return his keys until after 7am. I was very impressed that he would do that. Especially with my nephew's death, caused by drunk driving just 5 months ago so fresh in my mind. Needless to say, I was impressed by the man. He even sent us a Christmas card from his own home. His old boss didn't even know my name or that he had kids. ANYWAY, it was a very nice party and great food!!! Take care, Zanna
Guest guest
Hi Zanna...sounds like the party turned out to be a good thing! Super duper! Sounds like the new boss is A-Ok, too! Which makes quite a difference, eh? Lynn --- wischic68@... wrote: > Hi , > > The claritin is twice a day. I haven't used it yet. > I did go to the office > party tonight. It was very nice.
