Measles virus question by Arpita is an important issue. Even if the immune cells phagocyte the virus, it survives inside the immune cells. This means the immune cells are not functioning properly. I have read that our immune cells need to be saturated with vitamin C to fully do their job not only of engulfing but killing the virus. For this oral mode is not enough but can be complementary to intravenous shots. Vitamin C penetrates the cells.------------Ratan Singh, Phone: 91 141 2652561, mail: ratanpsych@...- Certificate in Food & Nutrition; Diploma in Nutrition and Health Education; Life Member, Nutrition Soc. of India; Member ISOM- Author of "Nutrition & Supplements in Major Mental Illnesses";- M.A. (Psychol), Postgraduate Diploma in Medical & Social Psychology, Ph.D.;- Certified Behavior Therapist (from late Prof. J. DS had high measles titers and we did the high dose Vit.A protocol for him more than 3 months ago. After a while we started LDM and he did run temperatures(fevers) intermittently with a few red spots here and there. We are still on LDM @ 20 drops x 3 times daily. What else can we add for measles? Does L-lysine or any of the other anti-virals help with it? We tried the classic transfer factor and immunovir - but they didn't seem to help much. From where can I order RMM transfer factor?

Any pointers will be appreciated.

Best regards,

Arpita.
