I " m interested in the answer to this as well. I do fine on thyroid (of any

type) for a few weeks and then I start having reactions with my heart even

though I'm still hypo. It's frustrating.

So, Val, increasing the HC would help with the adverse reactions? I feel like

my temps have been pretty stable on 25 mg of HC except when my heart starts

going crazy, then my temps. are not stable (with higher doses of T3).

I am beginning to wonder if those who need high doses of T3 are sort of in a

different category of HC supplementation, in that I think we might need more HC

than most people to support the high doses of T3. This is what it seems like in

my case. I have the same problems-high heart rate but temps still not high

enough...

are you hypo as well? what do you do about it? is it just palpitions that you

experience? are you on hc?

i was on synthroid for year and frankly i never felt there was any difference

from taking it. then i heard about the hc thing, got on that, then armour ,

then my whole system is whacked out.

i was better off before . i had no energy but at least i could predict how i

was going to feel.

Hi

I started off able to tolerate Armour but then 'lost' that ability about the

time i was on 10mg HC - I tried going up and up on the HC, up to about 40mg and

it got worse and worse, but since going back down on HC, I now can tolerate

Naturethroid and T3.

Val,

I have increased my HC to 30 mg and taken 50mcg of T3 yesterday and today, split

up into 3 doses. My chest is still a bit achy, but so much better. My temps

the last 2 days have been 97.5, and 97.3, so low, but fairly stable. Should I

stay here for awhile and as long as my temps are stable try and raise my T3

again in a week or so to get my average temp at 98.6? Thanks so much for the

help!

what should i do about my hypo-ness? i am taking 35-40 mg hc. i

dropped down to one grain armour but still had a reaction. i can try

to slowly go down in hc but that will take a while and in the meantime i

will have to go thyroidless. my temps are super low , in fact they

have been all through this experiment. low 97s. so am i not

absorbing any thyoid anyway?

It could be the new Armour formulation, does it taste chalky (new) or

sweet (old)??

Myself and a lot of others felt weird on new Armour.

my ferritin is low but when i first started armour 2 months ago i was doing fine

with it and hc. it happened sort of suddenly so it doesn't seem logical it's

ferritin.

is there a reason that you can think of? right now i am stopping thyroid but i

feel terrible.

( haven't started the t3 thing because i have gotten intimidated by it from this

forum.

I can'timagine what you have read here that would put you off T3 asd

most of us are ON it. You can become intolerant of Armoru whne you have

too high Reverse T3 and it can cause some horrible symptoms such as

extreme anxiety, extreme hypothyroid (worse tha you were before starting

thyroid meds) and fluid retenton and really bad brain fog. but the

amnxiety and adrenal symtmos are the worst. this is all form adding in

more T4 which creates mroe Rt3. I find T3 to be VERY safe.

You might want to check B12 and folate levels, copper levels (for excess

or deficiency) zinc deficiency, vit D levels, and sex hormone deficiencies.

Also have you experienced any sudden stress of any kind?
