15 wk OB and u/s update (preg ment)

Hi Ladies,

Well, they think it's a little boy in there! We saw somethin'

peeking out from between his little legs. They aren't totally sure,

but they are " pretty sure--we'll check again at your next one " .

The baby is doing great. They did a fetal survey, even though I'm

going for my real fetal survey on Jan. 3. They saw everything as

" ok " except the face, because it's too early to see a cleft lip.

Heart, lungs, spine, abdomen, leg, arms, hands and feet and

head, all pefect! The real reason for the u/s was my cervix, which

is holding up nicely at 3.9 cm. They said " you have a beautiful

baby and a beautiful cervix " . My cervix is beautiful. Hey, what

can I say? If you've got it, flaunt it (LOL!!!!!)

Anyway, then on to the doc. She said my pelvic kidney would

probably not be a problem, b/c it's not super low in my pelvis.

She said we'd keep an eye on it, but she would not rule out a

vaginal delivery now because of it. I guess the kidney is kind of

in my side somewhere. Let's see, what else. I refused the triple

screen test (I'm too much of a worrier, and everything looks fine

by u/s anyway). The heartbeat is 158 bpm. I've gained 1 pound.

She said " time to start eating! " Not much else.

I go for a manual cervix check on Dec. 18. My next u/s is Jan 3!

I will put up the picture by the end of the day today.
