Oh, this is so exciting, you're almost there! From what I've heard and read it's perfectly normal. Heike SU resected

Hi Beth, " what to agonize over and other things you never even thought of when you're expecting " says that it's normal to spill a little now and then without getting GD. I think, with so short to go, even if your blood sugar did get a little wacky, there'd be no real probs. You could always try limiting your carbs for the next few days. I'm sooooooooooooooooooo excited for you! Jill SU resected 14w2d
Guest guest
Beth- I don't know about GD specifiacally, but diabetes runs in my family, so I am tested on an annual basis , they do both a urinalysis and the nasty gook drink stuff. Several years ago, I had a little glucose in my urine. They sent me back in a week to be re-tested and all was fine. Sounds like Tuesday isn't getting here fast enough for little Noelbaby...hang in there! Have you got the bassinet put up yet? UD

Was talking to my earthie-birthie cousin yesterday (4 healthy kids, 3 homebirths--no hitches), and she said she's spilt sugar and protein once in a while and it meant nothing in her case. > Sounds like Tuesday isn't getting here fast enough for little > Noelbaby...hang in there! Have you got the bassinet put up yet? Yup, the bassinet is up, and it's got a sheet and is draped with some baby afghans I made. My nephew brought me a changing table last night and set it up, too. Bought a car seat . . . most everything I can think of is ready. :-))) Beth SU

This is good news... > My question: is it common to spill sugar from time to time and not be > teetering on the edge of GD? I also tested a little high two appointments ago. Not a big deal, and it was fine last time. Just a few more days...! I'll bet you can't sleep you're so excited! (Well, the big tummy doesn't help either, does it? I'm having a heck of a time getting comfortable.) If I don't check again before Tuesday, let me wish you the very best of luck. I don't think anyone deserves this more than you. The love and support you've shown everyone while going through so many tough times yourself is just amazing. I am thrilled for you. Can't wait to hear all about him! Guest guest
Hi Beth, It seems like yesterday when you announced your pg, and it's 37w already! I'm so happy for you and DH. I'll be waiting for the birth announcement!!! My baby is very active, and he's keeping me busy all day, so I don't read the mail, I just peek in from time to time and browse through. I want to welcome new members, congratulate all new pregos, and wish uneventful pg for all those who are waiting for Dday. Gabi

I won't be able to get to a computer tomorrow, so I want to wish you the VERY VERY best with this delivery. I hope that all goes smoothly and you are soon holding Noelbaby (whom shall be known as Theodore as of tomorrow, right?) I can't wait to hear your story. Hugs, Sara
