Guest guest
I might suggest that just because there is no so called " scientific " evidence, is no reason to believe something won't work or isn't possible. Just my 2 cents worth. Dave Vicks VapoRub Revisited I did a Google search on the subject of Vicks VapoRub, re the post in the last couple of weeks about its ability to stop coughs if rubbed on the feet, and came across an interesting article from the About.com website. Here is the link for that so you can read it for yourself. It is quite lengthy. http://urbanlegends.about.com/od/medical/a/vicks_for_cough.htm Needless to say, it points out that there is no scientific evidence that VapoRub works. In some sense it seems like it could, as I posted before that there was a very relaxing benefit to Biofreeze (which has menthol and eucalyptus) when I rub it on my frozen shoulder. But since there is no scientific evidence the original e-mail cannot be construed as accurate, so it's just another one of those urban myths.
