Guest guest
Hiya, Well, tomorrow marks 36 weeks and all is well. The visit was short and *very* sweet. I've had a some stronger contractions lately and feel a little increased pressure in the pelvis. I've felt that the baby has flipped between transverse and vertex a couple of times--today he was vertex, with legs off to the right. Seems as though when he is vertex I feel the hiccoughs behind the pubic bone, and when transverse I feel them around my belly button. The OB thinks that my septum/shelf must really be squashed by now, since the baby does not seem to be trapped in one position. The OB said, " For all the worrying we've done about this baby, I think he may go overdue, " to which I responded " The hell you say! " I go one more time for an OB check-up after Thanksgiving and then in on Dec. 2 for an amniocentesis and a c-section at 10:00 a.m. on December 3rd. We settled on that day because it is the rollover date to 35 weeks (37 LMP) from the IUI. Anyhow, it's good to have a date for the birth. We are so hot to meet this young man.
