Guest guest
Yup, ESR is sed rate. I'm aware of what the test is, but thanks gals. My question has to do with how long after the blood is drawn can the test be done correctly? , how ARE you doing right now? Pain any better? Kim, I'm really interested in the MRI too. So glad you got in before your insurance runs out! Hope you can get everything you need in the way of tests and all, anyway. I've looked for an MRI pix of inflamed muscle too, without result. At least I can answer one question, Vicki. The light areas indicate inflammation, not the dark. I think Cari mentioned that some time ago, too. Whitish areas of inflammation. What I'm not sure of, Kim, is the dye used. I mean, I don't know if a " regular " MRI without contrast injected can also show muscle inflammation, or if one has to have the contrast.
