It sounds like it could be lyme disease. You need to have him checked. Lyme is tricky because it does not always show up. Igenex and Fry labs are the best. Join the Yahoo group borreliamultipleinfectionsand autism.

Hello, group,I really hope sombody of you can help me. We have a strange problem - my son (3 years old) refuses to walk for the last three weeks and has sensory issues that he didn't have before, whereas others have disappeared. We are at the beggining of DAN treatment. Until now we have only done antifungal therapy (Diflucan) only for 20 days + probiotics + MB 12 shots. He is taking a multivitamin and mineral complex with glutathione. It all started when he got ill with some gastroenteritis - vomiting and little diarrhea. He got weak after that experience, which is normal, and we accepted that he wouldn't run immediately like he used to (he was very energetic). With the time the situation not only didn't improved but worsened - the few times he tried to walk his legs were firslty like stiffened and then he began to drag his left leg (it happened two years ago after one of the vaccines and lasted two o three days). Our DAN told us that it's

probably severe acidosis and prescribed an electrolyte drink and support for the liver. His movements improved but we still have to force him to walk - when he accepts to do it some times his gait seems almost normal but sometimes weird (no signs of pain but it's like it is difficult for him to control and bend his knees). The other thing is that he is insecure about everything - many times he asks us to hold his hand to return to the sofe no matter that minutes ago he walked alone from the same sofa to the other place or he asks us to give him the toy that is in front of him (he reaches for it and, almost touching it, he gives up and asks us to hand it to him). He has developed also a light sensitivity that he didn't have before along with other strange things and he is irritable and yells for nothing. On the other hand his visual stims are almost gone, his eye contact has become great, he turns when we call his name and he is overall more

alert.Has anyone had a similar problem? Any ideas what might have happened with our baby and what to do?Thank you in advance,Dani

Thanks, . Your supposition is scary but how our son looks is also scary. Our problem is living in Bulgaria where I can't trust not any lab nor any doctor (our DAN is also far away in Italy). You can't imagine how difficult is everything for us...

Thank you again
