just in case no one else has answered this already.>>

Thanks for the link, I just ordered the sampler package.

I've never tried most low carb products before, with the exception of the

Atkins bars. And I have to say, that Atkins bar saved my life yesterday,

it's the perfect substitute for real carbs, I had one after dinner - where I

easily wolfed down half a chicken, and it made me feel full, something this

diet never does.

Also, I noticed that my local Ralphs grocery store carries a pretty decent

line of not only Atkins products, but a huge amount of low carb products. I

also bought the Atkins breakfast bars - eventhough this stuff is incredibly

high priced, if it can keep me going this time around it's completely worth

it.

I'm not really doing Atkins this time though - what I found the other times

I did it is that the whole thing is too strict for me. What i've decided to

do this time is to kind of feel my way through it, go low carb but not limit

myself to a specific number, more along the lines of being sensible about

it, and see what happens.

where is YOUR Ralphs? Mine only carries two kinds of Atkins bars and not

really anything else!

I'm in San Diego.

It's in Chatsworth, in the San Valley. Not only did they have the

Atkins bars, and a bunch of other low carb bars, but they had the Atkins

chocolate shake mix and the baking powder, also breakfast bars and I found

low carb peanut butter. There was lots of other stuff too but I figure I'll

start small and if I like the way it tastes I'll spend more money later

on....meanwhile I spent the same amount of money last night buying low carb

prepackaged stuff as I did in the grocery store the day before buying

regular food!

you're making me homesick! I grew up in the San Valley (we

were the original " Valley Girls " before the song/movie EVER came out! LoL)

and went to El Camino Real high school in Woodland Hills.

Nice to see someone on the list " from home " :-)

Technically I'm not from here - I'm originally from New York - but I love

living in the valley!

Especially now knowing my supermarket carries Atkins products! Woo hoo!!!
