Guest guest
Good going girl. Keep up the good stuff. update I'm sure you all may have been wondering about me for the last several months after my surgery. I'm hoping that I posted something after I came home from surgery inn January, but work has been so busy, I haven't had time to write anyone. Anyway I've had my 2nd follow up with my surgeon this past Friday and I've lost 40 pounds in almost 7 months. That's a slower rate compared to other gastric bypass patients. Most people lose at least 80-100 in the first few months. But medications from other medical conditions slow me down a bit, and I don't get to exercise as much as I'd like either. I enjoy water aerobics and do that about 3 times a week. I feel much better than I use to, but I've always got something to do whether I'm at work or at time. Lots of times I have to schedule down time for myself. Anyway I hope everyone is doing good here, and hope Dave is doing well with being a moderator. I guess I'm the 99% silent moderator. My diabetes is under control without meds now and my a1c was about 7 back in January. I'm sure it's much better now. I've lost a total of 68 pounds. 28 before surgery and 40 at present. I have a question. There's an excellent website to purchase low carb products, but I can't see the nutritional information on most of the products. the website is http://www.lowcarbshop.com If anyone could point out where they are hiding the nutrition facts on their stuff, please let me know. I may just have to call them this week.
