Guest guest
I think you are right, Harry. And they are dry, dry, dry! Re: hospital It must be a hospital staple, turkey sandwiches, because that is what they give you in north Georgia. hospital Well, Tuesday night before bed, my BG was 73, so I drank about 4 oz. Of juice. An hour later, I started have terrible chest pain. After of hour of using nitroglycerine and eating 4 baby aspirin and thaking a vicodan (doctors orders), I ended up in the ER. After they gave me oxygen in the ambulance, the pain went away. They admitted me, of course. They dep doing a tripona level, which went up 8 hours and 16 hours after admission, so they kept me overnight again last night. The level was down this morning so I am now home. Triponin is an enzme that your body produces if you have a heart attack. hHowever, mine is usually up a bit all the time because my kidneys are not good. So they are saying it was a bad angina attack rather than a heart attack. My blood sugars were pretty high yesterday all day-160-200, but then went down last evening before dinner to 112, at 10PM it wa 61, so they fed me half a a turkey sandwich. I asked them to wake me up at 2 AM to do another one and good thing as it was 61 again. I drank 4 oz. of jjuice, then at 6AM it was 51! I drank 8 oz. of juice and it went up to 82. Ate breakfast, a piece of French toast and some scrambled eggs and it was just now 112. Hopefully all will be well from now on!
