This does cause one to wonder what other

lovely conditions, fibromyalgia being one of them,

that one can have along with MS--I have peripheral

neuralgia, neuralgia of the peripheral nerves, mosly

feet and legs, and Tri-Geminal neuralgia, currently

behaving itself, on one side of my face.

Tell your neurologist about all this pane, Geremy,

and perhaps more can be done.

Love to all of you in our group,

n

There are many prescition meds that may help:

Rebif, Betaseron, Avonex, Copaxone, and for the

nerve pain, sometimes Neurontin.

Othes will have many more suggestions.

Can you tell us a bit about yourself, where you

get your MS care, and how you came (finally) to

be accurately diagnosed.

Love to you, Connie,

Sorry about the blank post--

Dear Connie, please do tell us as much

as you can about your MS, and how it af

fects you. We will do all we can to help.

Sometimes, I send links to web sites that

can help--whatever we can do, we are happy

to do it.

Sorry so late in answering, I tried Avonex first for 3 months and was in pain allot, more then I was out of it, even during my sleep I was in pain. (DH said I groaned while sleeping) Then I tried Rebif and again was in none stop pain. I felt sick like the flu all the time and was told that would go away but I didn't give it a chance to go away before I stopped the Rebif and went on to LDN. I can't say that I am always pain free but I sure know I am so much better then I was.

Love as Always,Sometimes lurking, mostly reading, always caring.(with an i) from OK
