Guest guest
, That is so wonderful! Thanks for sharing with us, it really gave me a lift after having a bad week with DS regressing. DS got sick 2 weeks ago and has been gagging on and refusing his meds/supps and has quickly regressed. We started Valtrex/diflucan 3 months ago and saw great improvements as well - the biggest intervention so far. Then he got sick after starting school and in the middle our DAN switched us to Nizoral. The past 2 days we've got him back on most of his supps and hes starting to come back to us. I have been crying for 2 days straight, and seeing your video really gave me strength and helped to reaffirm that we are on the right path with antivirals and we just have to keep pushing forward. Can I ask you, at what point did you add the LDN? Did that help with keeping him from getting sick? What kind of rapid improvements did you see over the last 6 months? My son is 4 1/2 and even though he is verbal, has a large vocabulary and 8-10 word spontaneous sentences, he has such a problem understanding complex language, still mixes his pronouns, has major verbal stimms (repeating sentences and making noises), some visual stimms (squinting, turning head looking from the side), and auditory processing issues. Did you do viral testing, to see if he needed the LDN? How long did you do vitamin A protocol? What kind of grains do you exclude/include? We are dairy-free (tried gluten-free for 3 months and saw nothing) but are thinking to go back to GF again. Sorry, to throw all this at you, I guess I'm just looking for someone who may have been in the same place who still was able to recover after 5 yrs old. The way I see it, the place that DS is at now, it doesn't look like he can recover within a year, and I'm beginning to lose hope that it might be too late. We are considering doing chelation as a last resort, but want to try the exhaust the viral route first. Thanks so much for listening Shiri > > > > > >> > >>Subject: video of my recovered son [1 Attachment] > >>To: mb12 valtrex > >>Date: Wednesday, September 22, 2010, 7:56 PM > >> > >> > >> > >> > >> > >>this is a video of me son, taken this evening.. > >> > >> > >> > >> > >> > >> > >> > >> > >> > > >

Guest guest
Hi, Shiri -Why in the middle of your success w/ Diflucan did your DAN switch to Nizoral?? How long were you on the Diflucan before the switch? When we first started biomed, we began w/GFCF diet only, CLO & multivitamin only. After doing biomed for approx. 8 months we began MB12. Six weeks later we began LDN. Initially I gave 5 lines of LDN for about 3 months. But it did not give us (at the time), any positives results. The combination of the MB12 & 5 lines of the LDN created a lot of yeast for my son. So we stopped the LDN for about 12 mos. and waited to see what the MB12 alone could do. It wasn't enough. - After a year of MB12 injections we started Diflucan. Three months after starting Diflucan, we restarted 2 lines of LDN (instead of the initial 5 lines that are DAN prescribed -- the advice of taking 2 lines, instead of 5, was given to me by Christel K. on our board). I noticed an immediate improvement in overall functioning of my son w/2 lines. A month later we started Valtrex at 500mg. 3 times a day and a strict organic diet. And we switched our CLO to fermented CLO. I then did high dose vitamin A, and saw even more positives.... By April or May of this year I knew that he was going to be fine..I will find a video of him from 6 months ago so that you can compare...My son is a viral kid. he always had visual stims, and verbal stims. All of that went away w/ Valtex/Diflucan/LDN, etc., He rapidly gained age appropriate pragmatic speech in about 5 months.HTH, To: mb12 valtrex Sent: Fri, September 24, 2010 10:14:52 AMSubject: Re: video of my recovered son , That is so wonderful! Guest guest
Hi , Thanks for responding! I would love to see a video from 6 months ago, it would give me some hope that maybe we still have a chance! I am going to try all of the things you've done. We had been doing Diflucan for 3 months, and even though we saw great results in behavior, attention and language, his labs came back having gone from High yeast to only Moderate yeast. Our Dan thought that this was still too high for having been on Diflucan for 3 months. However, he has been on Valtrex, MB12 shots and glutathione cream all of which kick up yeast so I'm not sure you can really get all of it. So far, DS has been refusing the nizoral on most nights and gagging from the taste so we are trying to get it compounded to taste better. Meanwhile, its like someone has possessed my sweet boy - he is stimming all over the place! He is currently on: Valtrex Nizoral MB12 injections Nu Thera with P5P Zinc Optimized Folate (for MTFHR genes) Vitamin K Vitamin C Vitamin D (6 iu) Calcium (b/c he wont take any milk substitutes) Cod liver oil (not fermented - but will switch) Glutathione Cream Enzyme Complete DDPV Super Pro-Bio probiotics Epsom salt baths every night Our Dan wants us to to next add: Colostrum Acetyl l-carnitine CoQ10 Riboflavin And then 2 challenge tests with single doses of EDTA and DMPS with suppositories done separately a few weeks apart with testing before and after. (We still are not sure we want to do this). I would appreciate any input anyone may have regarding his current treatment, I really value everyone's opinion here! You guys have all been such an amazing source of strength and inspiration! Thanks for reading! Guest guest
Hi Shiri,Anytime!!Shiri, non compounded Nizoral has lactose in it, so if your son sensitive this may be a issue. And even though both Diflucan and Nizoral are both azoles, Diflucan is stronger. I started recording him at 14 mos. (when he first started looking out of the corner of his eyes & banging his head on our floor).HTH, Sent from my iPhone Hi , Thanks for responding!
