Guest guest
Lynn, I can assure you that there are days I look 66 (and feel it also), but it helps to have hair that has not turned white, don't even have one yet. Not sure why, I surely have earned them with all that I have gone through. But my mother and father both had no gray until late, in fact. when my father died at 66, not a single white hair (he was very blond, but no white), so guess that helps. Diet helps us look better if we eat properly and avoid bad stuff like white starches and sugars. I plan to never dye my hair, so it can stay its natural color for many more years and that will be good. I think sleeping on a magnetic mattress helps also. I had a friend whose hair had turned white, she got a magnetic mattress, and half her hair turned dark again. So, I do a lot to try to stay as healthy as possible. Guest guest
Mis Cherie, Feeling 95 at times is ok, you are alive and recovering. I felt that way also for years, but got better. Guest guest
PH, Many times I wondered if I would live until morning, but I was so stubborn that I just hung on and did everything I could to detox. So I understand feeling 90. So do many of our women. Keep detoxing and you will feel like you are in your 30's again, might take a year or two. Guest guest
Magnetic mattresses help fibromyalgia and help arthritis. They help the blood move better through your system. That moves inflammatory particles away from areas of pain. The Japanese are so far ahead of us, they have usde magnets for years for health. Guest guest
Hum Lynda, I might have to get the magnetic mattress!! I have so much gray that I have to dye my hair. My mom was gray before she was 35! YIKES!! I don't think I have a chance. Lucky you, must be in the genes. Lynn Re: Give it a try....> >> >Oh Lynn....honey. ...35 is not old! Guest guest
Lynn, I think no gray is definitely in the genes, but magnetics are great for pain caused by inflammation. I have a back magnet, a shoulder magnet, and lots of mini magnets that can go anywhere. They can be purchased online these days for not too much. Guest guest
, This is an awesome idea! It sounds like a great part time job. I hope you get some answers soon from these crazy docs...I gave up immediately after the first one treated me bad in Tucson. There is one doctor you might try here in Vegas, his name is Dr. Ivan Goldsmith. He knows implants are bad news, so he will validate you on that. He gave an interview that aired when they did the story on me on Channel 3 in the year 2000. I saw him once, but unfortunately, he wasn't what I needed, and I went the naturopathic route. But you may have some luck with him. Another doc that treats neurological illness and knows implants are bad in Dr. Morton Hyson. His wife had implants and he knows they made her sick. Guest guest
Patty, Thanks! I'm going to look these guys up to see if they are on my insurance. If I go the naturopathic route soon.... can you recommend one? I really had to work hard to get more thyroid testing done when I went to the dr yesterday. I told him that the standard set by the council of endocronologists was lower.. he just said anyone can say what they want it to be but it must be set nationally. I explained some of my symptoms which are definitely hypothyroid. When I mentioned that one of my symptoms was some depression... he immediately decided that everything that was wrong with me was depression... I should never have mentioned it. Anyway, I told him I needed him to do the T3 and T4 tests, and the antibody tests. He ordered those finally and I had my blood drawn yesterday. I hope to get results today but I might have to wait until Mon. He is also going to do some kind of thyroid scan in 2 weeks. If he doesn't respond with some kind of treatment after these tests come in, I think I'll go to someone else. Thanks for all the help. > > > > > > http://www.myspace.com/clspin > > > > > > I have not a clue what I am doing - he he.... Guest guest
Hi Lynn- Yeah, that happens sometimes. Although, you won't have problems finding another song, there are trillions and millions on myspace, every artist you can think of is on there now. Just click on music at the top right of myspace, put in a keyword (any artist you like) and their myspace will come up (as well as other myspaces people have put up for them (not sure they like that, but it happens)) then click on their page, they usually have 4 songs to choose from (their most popular) choose one you like then click on " add " this will add it to your page. Let me know if you have any problems. Guest guest
, I hope your doc takes care of any thyroid issues going on. I'll be curious about your test results. SO many women end up with thyroid problems. I've seen several naturopaths here in Vegas. It seems they all charge an arm and a leg to see them, and I can only hope that has changed for the better. I have not been to a doc in ages. (I know I need to go to monitor my thyroid. I am a very bad patient!) I can give you the names of who I have seen, and who I can recommend based on feedback I've gotten from another woman going the natural route. In fact, I need to make contact with her again...good time for that reminder. I've seen: Dr. Fuller Royal (MD trained, but practices homeopathy now) Dr. Royal (homeopathic doctor, son of above doctor) Dr. Craig Roles (chiropractor, natural treatment minded, wonderful man) For endocrinology, saw Dr. W. Reid Litchfield. He was okay, open minded about implants, but really didn't do much for me. Supposed to be a very good doc. Dr. Terry Pfau was highly recommended to me by Anita, who took her son there. Let me know if you see any of these men! Guest guest
Great! I'll be curious to hear how your visits go. Beware of the pretty little pills they will try to prescribe....that's what MD's are trained to do. But hopefully you will get answers that will help target your healing approach. I did not take any drugs during my healing, so keep that goal in mind. I just am so cautious with MD's anymore... Guest guest
Patty, Thanks for these names. I'll let you know what my thyroid tests show. I actually called Dr. Pfau's office to see if my insurance would pay for the visits... they wouldn't... but I might just find the money and go anyway after the first of the year. I'm not getting any constructive help from many conventional doctors. > > > > > > > > > > http://www.myspace.com/clspin > > > > > > > > > > I have not a clue what I am doing - he he.... Guest guest
Patty, I have avoided drugs so far. They wanted me to take prednisone and then a drug to suppress my immune system. Did you not take any thyroid medication also? I'm not sure about that one... if my thyroid is really giving me problems, I might take something for that. > > > > > > > > > > http://www.myspace.com/clspin > > > > > > > > > > I have not a clue what I am doing - he he.... Guest guest
, I'm not surprised insurance coverage was not available for Dr. Pfau, but it never hurts to try. Keep me posted on your experiences with the others. And in time you will get the thyroid figured out. I can't imagine with a number like the one you had, that it will stay untreated for long. At some point in time they have got to make the connection with the symptoms and the numbers. Patty > > > > > > > > > > Lynn, > > > > > > > > > > Great looking page. Love the music.
