Hi Krista, When I went to my family physician last week he ran a CBC,

thyroid panel, and he also wanted to check my vitamin levels. I'm going

to the naturopath tonight at 6:00 pm so I'll let you know if he does

any additional testing.

Hi Krista,

I had swollen lymph nodes in my armpits which Dr. Kolb removed. I

wouldn't resort to that w/ yours...in fact had I read more about it

before surgery, I would have said no. After reading up on it and

talking with my chiro's they suggest lymphatic massage and using a

rebounder (mini trampoline). I bought my rebounder at Wal-Mart for

only $20 and it works great. Apparently just rebounding for 3

minutes allows one complete flush/circulation cycle of your lymph

system, clearing out the toxins. In the beginning I tried to bounce

for 10 minutes...very boring but if you turn on music, it's not so

I have had those groin lymph nodes swollen at times, think it is just

part of the autoimmune stuff.

Forgot to add...the blood tests I had run were ANA (autoimmune

antibodies), SED (sedimentation rate), ESR(not sure), thyroid Free T-

3 and 4, thyroid antibodies, Vit D, Vit b-12, CMV (cytomegalovirus),

EBV(epstein barr virus), zinc, cortisol, heavy metals, tons of tests

at infectious disease for obscure things like very rare autoimmune

diseases, AIDS and syphyllis (a waste of time as I already knew I

didn't have those, but the docs insisted).

In addition to the above, Dr. Mercola is checking all vit levels by

blood and I'm doing a 4 day stool test to check for fungi and

pathogens. I also did an organic acid urine test and a saliva test

to measure cortisol. Oh, I also had a hair analysis test for heavy

metals which is really important. If you have heavy metals, you need

to address those because it's more difficult to get rid of the fungus

with the presence of the metals...ionic foot baths and supplements

take care of the metal detox. - PH

Lynda- Were your lymph nodes like small gumballs? I have two that are

small like little gumballs. They've been there for the last 4 months

or so. I think I'd just feel more comfortable getting them checked

out. I'm sure it is nothing to worry about, but I just want to ease

my mind.

PH- Yeah, I'm definitely not intersested in getting them removed. In

Jordan's book he also talks about the diet helping with your lymph

system, clearing out clogged lymph nodes (which seems like what I

have.)

I like the idea of a mini trapoline! Maybe I'll give that a try!

Krista, Isn't his personal story awesome?! In the beginning of this

illness I wanted to move to San Diego and live on the beach like he

did so I could get well from the fresh air and sun. It's just not

the same in the city. Leighland, the woman who wrote Breasts

to Die For moved to a remote beach in Hawaii and feels that swimming

in the ocean daily helped her recover. It's so hard to detox the way

I need to...oh, that reminds me...my sister went to a candida detox

retreat somewhere outside of Denver or Boulder. I'll let you and all
