Guest guest
I always mixed my son's in with unsweetened applesauce. [ ] threelac Hi- I just received my order of Threelac in the mail for my 10 year old son and he is refusing to take it. It comes in a powder, and he is used to taking supplements in a capsule form. The directions say that you are supposed to let the powder dissolve on your tongue before swallowing and then follow it with a glass of water. Does anyone know if I could mix the Threelac with food, or if I could dissolve it in juice, or if I could put it in a capsule? Thanks! =======================================================
Guest guest
Has anyone tried this and if so did you have good results with it? I've read some of the posts in the archives where some women have said that it worked great for them.
Guest guest
Stephie, I've tried Three Lac . . . It didn't do as much good for me as they touted . . . I'm sure it would benefit almost anyone. The big difference between Three Lac and Primal Defense is the variety of organisms in it. . . You need as many as possible so they can colonize in your digestive system. I think it was Cherie who couldn't tolerate other products but did pretty well with Three Lac. IMHO, it's worth a try. Guest guest
Thanks PH. I went to Whole Foods today and bought the Primal Defense. The woman that was helping me said that a lot of people have used something called Candidase and it has worked very well for them. She said that she used to work at a natural healing center before working at Whole Foods. Guest guest
Hi Steph, I use Threelac only because I tried Primal defense and Fungal defense and my body could not handle them prior to the removal of my implants. Using Threelac was the only product for me that my body didn't reliate against. I'm still using it along with enzymes. I will eventually try the Primmal/Fungal in the future. I just say, use what your body can handle, it will tell you! Guest guest
Thanks Cherie, Is the ThreeLac working for you? Guest guest
Steph, Yes, I would say so. My digestive system is much better since explant. I have a pretty bad case of fungal/yeast and will be tackling it for a while. I have not done another " spit " test to see if it looks any better. I plan to be more aggressive in the near future. I am taking this one day at a time. Really for me, getting the implants out was what I needed most. Now maybe the things I try will work. Having the implants in, nothing really worked. Hope what you try works for you! Guest guest
Stephie, First you need to know there are two distinctly different reasons to take Fungal Defense and Primal Defense. . . Fungal Defense is to suppress the bad organisms that have taken over because of a suppressed immune system - or antibiotics, etc. .. . Prescriptions drugs, Nystatin and Diflucan do the same thing. Primal Defense is to restore beneficial organisms with the intention that these organisms will eventually be able to keep the bad ones in place . . . Acidopholis, Three Lac, Pearls, etc., as well as yogurt, Kefir, etc. . . all fit in this group. What your body does well with is pretty much an individual thing. . . To me, it makes sense to get as great a variety of these organisms in our bodies as possible. I'd suggest trying various types until you see (via the Three Lac spit test) that you are getting the results you want. Hugs, Rogene
Guest guest
Cherie, I agree 100% . . . It can get discouraging, but being sick is depressing! . .. Keep searching for answers . . . You'll know when you've found it! Hugs, Rogene
Guest guest
Thanks Rogene, I'm taking the diflucan and today I started the primal defense. I'm also going to see a naturopath tomorrow who specializes in candida and fungus. The good news is he takes my health coverage. I can't wait! > > Stephie, > > First you need to know there are two distinctly different reasons to take Fungal Defense and Primal Defense. . . > > Fungal Defense is to suppress the bad organisms that have taken over because of a suppressed immune system - or antibiotics, etc. .. . Guest guest
Thanks, I have an appointment tomorrow night with a naturopath who specializes with candida/fungus so I'm going to see what he suggests for me. I've been in touch with him via e mail and he did say that since I'm on Diflucan and now taking primal defense pribiotics I should be on the right track. I'm keeping my fingers crossed! > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Has anyone tried this and if so did you have good > results > > > > with > > > > > > it? > > > > > > > I've > > > > > > > > read some of the posts in the archives where some women > > > have > > > > > said > > > > > > > that > > > > > > > > it worked great for them. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >

Guest guest
For me it was easy to find one because I don't live in a big state. I actually did a search online and found him. Guest guest
Stephie,Please keep in mind that diet goes hand-in-glove with treating fungal issues. Sugar is a huge No-No . . . Eating sugar can defeat everything else you're doing. . . . kinda like treading water . . . I'm thrilled that the naturopath is covered by your insurance . . . You must have an excellent policy. I'd love to see more naturopaths covered. Medical costs would go down significantly if the root causes were treated, rather than the symptoms. Guest guest
Lack of insurance coverage is the only reason I haven't gone to a naturoath. Guest guest
I know. The whole diet thing is hard, especially finding things to eat that I like with no sugar! I'm also thrilled that my insurance with cover the naturopath. He said that he specializes in yeast/fungus, which is definitely a plus. Guest guest
, I found a few here in Colorado. Looks like they recommend two initial visits which are around $175-$200 for both (not each). My insurance won't pay either. I am going to save up though. I really want to visit one. Oh yeah, $45 for each visit after the initial appts. I applied for a gift wrapper at Macy's for Christmas. I am trying to get out of debt from explant too. Lynn Re: ThreeLac Lack of insurance coverage is the only reason I haven't gone to anaturoath. I tried every angle with my insurance company but theywon't pay. I'm still in debt from the explant surgery so guess I'llwait. Does anyone know how much they charge...ball park?> > >> > > Stephie,> > > > > > First you need to know there are two distinctly different reasons > > to take Fungal Defense and Primal Defense. . . > > > > > > Fungal Defense is to suppress the bad organisms that have taken > > over because of a suppressed immune system - or antibiotics, > > etc. .. . Guest guest
Lynn, After my frustrating visit with the dr yesterday, my husband said we will try to find the money somewhere if I need to see a naturopath. I guess I'll wait until I get through all the apts I have scheduled in the next 3 weeks. Those prices are not so bad. Guest guest
, I agree with your hubby! I am heading that way too, sick of the run around with regular MDs that don't know how to treat us so they come up with a dx to make themselves look good. Guest guest
I was just loggin in to purchase more Threelac. We use it for my son daily since he was 2. Heis now almost three. My DAN! has tested it and ofund it is a terrific probiotic. For kiddos, I would start with half a packet though, as it is strong. Hope that helps! Colleen Mother of Charlie almost
Guest guest
Definately! I had heard it can cause other problems and when it seems sometimes you have to be your child's 'doc' it is great to have info. Thanks! > > I was just loggin in to purchase more Threelac.
