That is wonderful news! I'm so happy and her aunt are doing well.

They're in our prayers!

24 hours later and is recovering nicely. Her creatinine today

is 1.1. She has a bit of pain from the incision, but they provided

her with a morphine pump and she is eating like crazy. I have never

seen her eat so much, she wants everything in site. is also

making wonderful urine, and feels antsy in her bed because she wants

to get up and move around.

Her Aunt is also doing wonderfully. They did her surgery

laprascopically and she says her incision is not bad at all. She is

having a bit of pain, but doesn't seem as bothered as yesterday. She

might be able to go home tomorrow or thursday.

Thank you for all the prayers and support. I am so excited that

has a site like this that she can go to. She talks about all

of you as if you were actually friends living in the area.

Thanks again,

Dana

Dana,

Please convey to that we have all been thinking about her. It is so

exciting that she has her kidney now. She will have some pain for the first 4

or 5 days and then it will start slowly getting better. When I got out of the

hospital I took some pain killers the first day in the morning and then just

stood it from then on. Those pain killers scare me to death. I don't mind the

morphhine drip, because you get less morphine that way than by injections for

pain. I found that I especially used it in the morning to help get over the

over night stiffness. Once I got moving I needed the drip less. Did they get

out of the bed the day after surgery? They got me out less than 24 hours

later at 4:00 AM to weigh me and then they took labs. I was sleep deprived the

whole time I was in the hospital. Tell to make sure that they give her

something to help her sleep if she is having trouble with that.

Please also convey our best to Aunt and tell her that she is the best.

I am also pleased that Aunt will be coming home soon.
