Guest guest
Good Evening Friends, I have two questions... 1. I just realized my toothpaste I have been using has Xylitol and Carageenan in it. It is Tom's of Maine. I switched to that brand several years ago when I realized that sorbitol was giving me horrible pain, cramping and diarrhea. Yet, these ingredients are illegal too. Any alternatives? Even for my son who is SCD. He hates toothpaste and will not use it. Since it goes in our mouth and gets in our bodies through the gums and saliva, it is important to be legal there as well, depending on how sensitive one is, which we obviously are! 2. Does anyone (adults) take the Freeda Vitamins specifically made for the SCD? Elaine recommends this company in her book. They do not list the ingredients on their website, but I would like to get some. Do you think they would be safe for Abraham to take, maybe on a smaller scale, using a pill crusher? It might be a great multivitamin for us all, since it is specifically made with this diet in mind. Thanks, Tina
Guest guest
Good Morning Tina, I use baking soda to clean teeth. I use the specified 2 Freeda Vitamins in BTVC and they are fine. I order a six month supply at a time. > Good Evening Friends, > > I have two questions... > > 1. I just realized my toothpaste I have been using has Xylitol and > Carageenan in it. Guest guest
Thanks, Carol. Is it less expensive to order the 6 month supply? How much is it? And for my son? Could I give it to him with a pill crusher? Thanks! > > > Good Evening Friends, > > > > I have two questions... > > > > 1. Guest guest
Freeda has a toll free number http://www.freedavitamins.com/ Once you order you become a preferred customer and get a discount. Ordering quantity is also cheaper. Be SURE to specify you are using SCD> I've never used a pill crusher but you may be able to and dissolve the tablets in juice. > Thanks, Carol.
