Guest guest
There was a time when I actually may have considered this cause really, it was THAT bad at one time. I probably would have looked into it before pharmaceuticals. Thank God for giving me patience and helping me find people who could help before it got to that. > > > > http://lifestyle.msn.com/your-life/bigger-picture/articledoublex.aspx?cp-documen\ tid=21992648 & page=0 >

Many of us would try a lot of things, I am not > willing to risk schizophrenia. I would really research that assertion before giving up the pot idea. First of all, the link is suspect because all of it comes from psychiatrists, who I trust no more than I do mainstream doctors. Less, actually. Watch " Making A Killing " on Google video. Visit Dr. 's website on SSRIs which psychiatrists give out like candy to children as young as 18 months old. Here's other information: http://www.googlesyndicatedsearch.com/u/norml?q=schizophrenia & x=6 & y=8 The biggest question seems to be which came first? Like the link between autism and vaccines, I'd like to see the actual studies. Every link I followed on the schizophrenia.com site sent me to a news report, not a study. The news reports all referred to " a study " but no mention of who, what, when, where. I didn't spend too much time on it, but it looks to me like the debate is far from over. If I'd stopped at the FDA and the CDC and all my doctors' assertions there is no link between autism and vaccines, what a pickle I'd be in today. I'm not saying it's not true. I'm saying, if it were me, I'd do a ton more research before giving up the idea. I don't smoke pot, although I did from age 14 to 32. A lot. At 54, in my quest to heal my kids and live a healthier life, I've become convinced that marijuana is a miracle drug, possibly good for whatever ails you, and that the people really behind keeping it illegal is the very powerful Big Pharma. They would like to see marijuana gone. I hope pot is really helping your 9 year old. I don't doubt it for a minute and I've researched the topic in some depth. If there is substantial proof that it is harmful, please share links to the science. And please keep us posted. Good luck!
