Guest guest
Hi Vicki. Of course, I ice skate -- I'm from Canada (before meth, I was also known to drink beer). I played hockey twice a week until about four years ago. Then everybody except me got old and hung up the blades, and I took up running a bit more seriously. I haven't gone skating this year yet, but was thinking of going to one of the local arenas next weekend. They have public skating for a few hours each day. I did ask my evil rheumatologist about skating, and he said it was fine. He also said that I was not to play contact hockey, but I had already figured that part out. Good to hear about the phone. It is better to have something and not need it than to need something and not have it. I see you've been surfing the other sites tonight, too. You really are having a busy day! Mike B > > Hi MIke.... I hope I have energy to go to the dump tomorrow since I > didn't get to it today. I'm feeling pretty good right now. The air was > perfect for me. Just cool enough so I could work and enjoy myself. > > Cari sent me her phone, the Nokia 252 and it works. The best part is > that I didn't have to take it anywhere to program it. I found a site > that said to just charge it and it will dial the 911 emergency number. > Well, I charged it and then I dialed 911 for a test... and it worked! > So I'm set! Aaaaah, life is gooooood! > > Do you ice skate? > > Vicki
Guest guest
Mike.... YES... Joint is a bad word...LOL I can see you've never been surfing... I can tell you it takes a lot of practice and A LOT of muscle power to stay on top of the board. Of course when the great whites come in you seem to paddle faster and get your butt out of there....LOL Yes, we have sharks out here also. Out of everything I've tried in my lifetime to keep active, I never wanted to surf. I had many friends that had many boo boo's on their bodies.... it's not a forgiving sport. Your true surfer wouldn't have a cell phone near the beach.... only the yuppies!
Guest guest
Speaking of Great Whites, I came across one diving in Hawaii once. They look a LOT bigger underwater!! Hungrier too. This one must have eaten recently cuz he just didn't seem to interested. Just kinda faded back into the gloom (about 20' visibility where we were). Sure left me shaky though. Ed *don't think I'll be diving again any time soon anyways LOL* > > Mike.... YES...
