Guest guest
Hi , Creatinine levels at the time of dialysis vary greatly. The determination of when one starts dialysis does not go by the lab values, but rather how your body is handling the uremic state kidney failure causes. One of the main reasons is that body mass has a much greater impact than does actual lab values. The more body mass you have, the much higher levels you can tolerate. For instance, we have had some members start dialysis around 5.0 serum creatinine levels, and others not until 10 or 11. If you were asking to try to determine when you might be expected to need dialysis, if you have your lab values, you can use this tool to get a prediction which should be fairly accurate for you. http://www.wramc.amedd.army.mil/departments/medicine/nephrology/tools/index.html Hope this helps. Guest guest
Hello all...I was wanting to know how bad your creatinine clearance levels were before dialysis?Total protein/24 hour and urine creatinine/24 hours or other signs. Guest guest
Jeanie, You can start by blocking the sender. Most, if not all, e-mail service providers allow you to block certain e-mail addresses. If that doesn't stop the problem then you will have to contact your e-mail service provider and they can help you to delete the messages permanently. Guest guest
Jeanie, Sounds like a problem you might have to inform AOL about if you was me? What are the messages you are getting? Assume they aren't IgAN Board ones? Unless you're referring to the 50 or so that managed to be sent out at the weekend, in which case delete them all and ignore then, it was just a rogue poster!
