Guest guest
Hi Model - I'm sorry to hear that you aren't feeling well, it's good that you found this group. I think everyone will have some great advice for you and will help you make sense of your symptoms and give you some great advice. So, I hate to be the first one to give you the bad news, but I had my salines for 3 years before I had one symptom. Then, after 3 years, I had a deflation in one of them and the terrible symptoms hit me like a ton of bricks. I did have it replaced, hoping my symptoms would go away, but they didn't. In fact, they became worse after the replacement. I gave it 6 months before I just got so fed up and had the implants taken out once and for all. I am 11 days postop now, and even though I am flatter then a pancake, I don't care! My surgeon (Dr. Huang in Denver) did an excellent job in making my breasts still look beautiful (no extra skin, droopiness or anything,) she also made sure to remove the entire scar capsule, so that that did not continue to make me sick. The truth is, having breast implants is great, but not when they are making you sick. One lady on here said to me (before I was sure I was having them removed) having breast implants that are making you sick is like wearing high heels with flannel pajamas. She was right. I'm not 100% better, as it takes a long time to detox the body of the chemicals and toxins from the implants, but I am getting there. Eating a well balanced diet and detox is key for so many women like us. Your symptoms sound a lot like many women's symptoms on here, and even though you say something else might be going on in addition to the implants giving you symptoms, the implants aren't helping your situation, and they will continue to make you worse if you do not have them properly removed. I read that you have children, the most important thing you can do for your children is give them a healthy mommy. They don't care whether mommy has big, perfect breasts, if they are making you sick. I hope that you will make the right decision, as only you know what is right for you. But, all of the ladies advice on here is going to be to have them removed (properly,) and then accept your body as it was made. It has taken me a long time to be okay with my breasts again, but I'd rather wear a padded bra any day then keep something in my body that is making me sick. I hope you will stay with the group, as these women are so wonderful! ~Krista --- In , " modelmish " <modelmichelle@...> wrote: > > I'm searching to see if anyone can relate. > I have had my saline implants for 15 years w/ no problems!
