Hi Everyone~~My name is Pat and I have been lurking here for

a couple of months, reading all your posts and learning so much

from you. You all have been very helpful in keeping me on track.

Thanks so much.

I have been on the Atkins WOE since April-2000, and I've lost

62 pounds. At times it has been hard, but mostly it has been

much easier than any of the 10,000 other diets I've tried. I have

learned that this has to be my WOE for the rest of my life if I want

to keep the weight off.

I've been on a plateau for awhile now, but I haven't regained.

I just kind of stay at the same weight. I need to lose around

another 30 pounds, but I have the faith that I will get there eventually.

I just wanted to introduce myself and let everyone know how much

I appreciate all the helpful hints and recipes and all the support.

Even if I don't get on here and talk much, I will continue reading

all the posts and try to glean as much info from you guys as I can.

Thanks so much for all the help.

Pat

Hello Everyone

Greetings from a list lurker!

I would like to reply on the respirdol....our daughter was on it for

awhile and we had major problems at the end...a week from hell.

Sleeping 45 min at night. We got her off cold turkey, thanks to her

school staff standing by us, and she has been fine since. She does take

a small dose of Paxil daily-for over 4 years now.

Has anyone heard from Casey?? I am trying to get in touch with her to

no avail.

Many thanks,

Jackie, Mom to 19 with CHaRgE, 25 and nah 21 and wife

My name is Rich. I am a DAN! doctor in NJ. I think this group is a wonderful

resource. I offer nutrition and health coaching to people across the country.

The reason I joined this group was to get some more insights from the

" trenches " . The information that parents provide me with helps me help other

children and families. Your children are extremely lucky to have such wonderful

parents that are willing to do whatever it takes to help them recover. You are

all heroes!! I hope that I can be an asset to this group. God Bless You!
