Vicki,

They use it in almost all Chinese food, but Pick up Stix swears they don't use it-it even states it in the restaurant and menus and I don't think they do. Their food is so good. I don't know if you have one near you.

I really don't think I would have had a stranger do it. It is gross enough having a loved one do it. But, yeah, true love. He he!!! I must be the ammonia or something that numbs the pain. Poor DH. Give him my best.

  • 3 weeks later...

Vicki,

He is 32 years old. His first wife died in a fire about 6 years ago.

Anyone see a pattern here? He bought the house next to us and paid in full.

So at the age of 26, he owned a house free and clear. A beautiful two

story. He remarried again at some point. I only saw the wife once or twice.

He was a shady character, drove a lot of new cars that didn't have tags.

We were worried that he was going to try and burn this house down too but a

few weeks before Christmas, we noticed water leaking out of the house. He

had turned on the upstairs faucets. We called the police, who had the water

turned off, before the house was totally destroyed. When he returned a few

days later he was not at all happy to see that his " kind " neighbors had

called the police. I prayed that no neighbor would let it out that it was

me that made the call to 911. I know I did the right thing, but I didn't

want him to know it was me. The second story on the left side of the house

had come down into the first floor. Because no mortgage company owns the

house, the neighbors are all concerned that the house will just sit there

and rot. It does seem some family has come and gone the last few days

though. I don't know what happened to the new wife. The story is on

augustachronicle.com and you can bring up the article under .

They don't have the story about the 1st wife though. He killed his

co-worker on Nov. 15th, 2000. That was the day we signed the lease for this

house. Really gives me the creeps. A few days after the flooding, they

arrested him at his work. The Georgia Bureau of Investigations were at the

house for over 12 hours with a crime lab van until 2:00 am. There were 13

beautiful Crown 's parked in front of our house. They really

couldn't sneak up on anyone I'm afraid. LOL Every one here had clean cut

lawns, etc. Takes good care of their houses. His yard was knee high all

the time. Very strange. The neighborhood association was so leary of him,

they stopped bothering him about past dues and lawn care. I will be

watching the news closely to make sure the charges stick and he won't be

coming back around. I pray that your wacky neighbor will also be put away.

Anyone who picks on animals, is not right. He is a danger to everyone

around him.

Keep us up to date on that situation Vicki! Keep that phone with you at all

times.

Hugs,

Cari

Vicki,

The first house fire was a total loss. Nothing left of the wife to autopsy.

They must not have found anything suspicious if the insurance company paid

on the policy. Or at least anything they could pin on him. and his

second wife were living together next door. They started moving stuff out

in the middle of the night about 2 months ago. The neighbor directly across

the street from them would hear them in the middle of the night, coming and

going with their headlight1s off. Packing stuff up and then leaving. The

authorities were called and I think that is what put a fire under them. He

had been picked up last February for questioning and then released. It took

that long -Nov. 15th to Feb 9th for the autopsy report to come in! He

wasn't supposed to leave the state. I think they were afraid he was trying

to sneak away. The first 6 months we were here the house was for sale. I

never even saw a realtor ever show the house. His second wife is fine. I

have been wondering though if she is going to go to trial also. She must of

known something.

Vicki,

I don't think he ever intended on paying either! I thought the article was

kind of confusing. His house went up for sale in December. I think he

intended to move into " her " house! After a month or so he took the realtor

sign down but the lock box was still on the door. A month later the sign

was back up for a few months. I had my fingers crossed that it would sell,

sell, sell! He even looks shady in his picture, don't you think? My

Karsyn, age 8, was crying when she heard " the nice man " next door was

arrested. I had only seen him a few times in 1 year but I guess he always

spoke to her and said hello. She said he was very nice. I had no idea they

had ever spoken. She had a few nights of no sleep. Everything is calmed

down now though. Thank goodness. If he gets off, the FBI assures us he

won't, I won't spend 1 night in this house. I am glad our house will be

done soon.

Lynn,

Thank goodness he's not wanted! He's caught! Sitting in the court house

jail waiting to be arraigned. They denied bail. Thank god.

Vicki,

I think proceedings begin this month. Haven't heard a thing since they

hauled him away and the newspaper article. Justice takes way too long.

Let's hope there's no " technicalities " to let any of

these bozos off....we all have seen that happen a few

times!

Glad he's out of the neighborhood at least! Yikes!

I also look forward to the " For Sale " sign but feel sad for her. She's

gone through a lot with those two men over there and this just adds fuel

to the fire. But, it may also push her to make a decision for her

future. It is wonderful when the good guys win, isn't it!

Take care,

Vicki

Understand Vicki, but she has her lessons to

learn...and chances to grow.

Let's wish for that " For Sale " sign in the meantime!
