Guest guest
Nan, When it comes to FM, most doctors are in the dark . . . Better to find some good books on FM . . . Symtoms vary from person to person . . . What they have in common is that a sleep disorder accompanies it. From the triggers I've read about, I think the single thing they have in common is something traumatic enough for a person not to get restorative sleep for a period of time. . . It's very common among women who have had implants . . . The doctor who dx'd me was a neurologist whose wife and daughter both had FM (implants?). . He outlined a program that put together everything I knew helped already - and added a prescripton med for sleep. A support group had formed from his patients.. . He cautioned me about getting involved in a support group that just wanted to complain about their problems, rather than work on the solution. . . Too many groups just share their misery. As long as I follow my program, I'm symptom free. Hugs, Rogene also, they said I have fibromyalgia which the last two drs said I did not have. SOOO confused!
