Guest guest
I haven't looked at the website, but was it Ruffles that were on the OK list? I know Lays are & that's what my son eats with no problems at all.
Guest guest
Have you had allergy testing done? I know my girl was consuming a large amount of potato chips as well as a variety of other potato products and I wasn't seeing a great amount of improvement on the diet. Well, of course she came back with a white potato allergy along with about 20 other things. Since I've cut them her behavior has improved greatly. Or maybe even the spices on the chips. can't even have garlic!! Just a thought. Best of luck and a happy and safe 4th to everyone. Guest guest
They are supposedly ok, but I rushed out and bought the KC ones, and within hours my son was acting wild and tantruming. Within two days he was back to his old self. I won't buy them again. a > Have any of you had trouble with these chips? > > I let my son have them today cuz they were on the okay list, and I think he is reacting, his eye rolling increased AGAIN, and it was just getting down to only a few times a day since our last gluten slip-up. > > Thanks for the advice. > > > > > >

In checking ingredients, they both have Maltodextrin. Is this an okay ingredient? , Mom to Dallas, 2-1/
Guest guest
As a rule, I avoid any flavored chips. There's just too much artificial color and other junk added. I checked the GFCF Diet list. Baked Lay's BBQ chips are on the recently unacceptable list as is the actual KC Masterpiece BBQ Sauce. The following was on the list of acceptable foods with a disclaimer due to contamination issues. Also note that the statement claims only GF and not CF. Frito Lay Products www.frito-lay.com/faq.html #1- Possible cross contamination From Frito-lay: Our products do not contain gluten. Some are produced on the same line as our products that do contain gluten. The lines are washed between batches. However, a slight residue may remain on the line. Individuals who are extremely sensitive may be affected. Guest guest
Dear a, This is exactly what I mean, how in the world do we know what is safe and what is not? My son has only been on the diet 6 weeks and I having problems figuring it all out. Am I supposed to MAKE everything from scratch and only allow water until I get EVERY single offender for sure out of his system and then give ONE product at a time? This is so hard and SO frustrating! My son is still eye rolling a little. I KNOW it is diet related. He NEVER did this before starting this diet. And I can't figure it out. I NEED a DAN doctor! UGH Sorry, to rant, I am feeling so stressed out! > They are supposedly ok, but I rushed out and bought the KC ones, and within > hours my son was acting wild and tantruming. UGH > > Sorry, to rant, I am feeling so stressed out! > > I try to limit processed foods in the house. I'm considering not even buying packaged french fries, since it changes so much. All the Ore Ida's are being re-packaged and being given a new look, which makes me nervous. Today I bought a press to make my own fries, because I'm tired of guessing. As far as chips go, forget the flavored ones, too much risk. Your son's eye rolling maybe withdrawl related too. We went through the worst time the first 6 weeks. If you think there's a food that he's devouring more than others, than I would look into it. Often that can be a sign of a problem. As far as making most thinks from scratch, thats what I do. I can control the situation better. However, I love to cook and have more time than most to do so. I don't work outside of the home. I do bake huge batches, and freeze as many things as possible, even pizzas. Last night I took a 5 lb. bag of chicken breasts and made nuggets. Whatever we didn't eat, I froze. a
