MedPen is software that was developed by Vann Joe who is a medical

transcriptionist. His company is Emmaus: Medical Transcription Solutions.

The web site is at: http://www.medpen.net or you can reach him at (800)

579-4300. Give him a call. The technical support is the best I have ever

received from anyone.

Re: Re: Word Expanders

What is MedPen? Is that software or a transcription company? If it is

software, where can I buy it?

I had tried MedPen for a trial period. However, when I signed up for it I

did not have a client yet and was just getting my stuff together to

present to a potential client. Since I really couldn't concentrait on it,

and had difficulty setting it up, I just let it go and set myself up with

Quicken for my invoicing and statements. It is a lot easier since I also

use Quicken for my taxes so it is already in the program when tax time

comes. I would have preferred MedPen for word count as with Quicken I

have to use my Word count in Office 2000 and then have to copy and paste

it into the Quicken invoice. Oh well.
