recently diagnosed with iga

Hi all,

I have been recently diagnosed as having IGA by my nephrologist. I

had the biopsy about 2 weeks back and found out that 75% of my kidney

has become scared(it really shocked me at first). I have started to

take fish oil supplements and lisinopril(ACE inhibitors) as suggested

by my doctor. But I have lot of questions for you all.

1. what is the rate at which this progresses? I mean how long I can

live?

2. How do I slow it down more? Do I change my lifestyle? and how?

Please advise
