Guest guest
I know, I don't know what to say either. Her world could come crashing down tonight. Yet, the longer she's in the dark, the more her symptoms increase. I wish someone would have told me that my digestive issues were from my implants. It could have saved me and my family several months/years of heartache and pain. I want to tell her, yet I don't know how to address it...and I'm a social worker for crying out loud!! Anyone have any ideas? I really think she needs this info. - PH > > > > I was browsing a Lupus board and look at a post I found.... Guest guest
You all, I was diagnosed with lupus in 1994 and have not treated it, I detoxed instead. You are putting way too much stock in these tests and results and not enough in living a life that is free of toxins. You will get much further if you just detox, detox, detox and stay away from drugs and doctors and household chemicals and food additives and preservatives. Lupus is a description, it abates with proper diet and living as stress free as possible. Please quit buying into these diagnoses. Detox, detox, detox. Guest guest
Avoid, avoid, avoid, no dairy, no white starches and no sugars of any king (not even one little treat in 18 months), no red meat, no white potatoes, and lots of organic veggies, some organic fruit, deep ocean fish, organic grains. Lots and lots of pure water. Use lemons and limes in your water to make your body more alkaline. And, I went to a Naturopath and got help with supplements. Guest guest
OK, so I posted, but didn't put specifically what our symptoms were but just said they were similar to hers and were ms and lupus-like. I started to ask her if she had a silicone band but I'm sure she'd have to know as all the gastric bypass sites mention the 3 types of bands. She can make the connection and check it out from there. Guest guest
Hello Lynn ~ I am glad you feel better ! For me, higher altitude and dryer is better on my joints. If you will take lots of probiotics or drink kefir while there you will not have as bad a time detoxing when you get back. The probiotics will help keep out the mean organisms. I am glad to hear she is doing well. It must be hard seeing her with so many changes. I hope that her treatments work. Much love ~ DedeSee what's new at AOL.com and Make AOL Your Homepage. Guest guest
Dede, My joints are better. I think it has something to do with the humidy here in Illinois?? Unsure, but I like it. We will be here until Thursday. I am going to have to do some major detoxing when I get home though - my diet is suffering but I refuse to hurt my mother-in-laws feelings. She seems to be doing well. She is now wearing a wig and scarves, so it is difficult to see her : ( I hope you and your dad have a good Thanksgiving together. Love you missy!! Guest guest
Lynda, You're lactose intolerate, aren't you? . . . Avoiding dairy may not apply to those who aren't. I don't know where Kefir fits in. . . . Lactose may, or may not, be broken down in the frementing process. Rogene

Guest guest
PH, One way I've found to educate women about breast implants is to share my experience with breast implants. . . I may know they have implant problems . . . but I find it's best to avoid asking or telling. . . They may not make the connection immediately . . but they will have a clue, and when their mind is ready to make the connection, they'll do so. Guest guest
Lynn, Cancer feeds on sugar . . . That's why they have one drink a super-sweet drink laced with radioactive material when they do PET scans . . . It goes directly to malignencies, lighting one up like a Christmas tree if they have widespread cancer. Even more than you, she needs to be on a very healthy diet! Guest guest
Dairy was definitely a no no when I was detoxing. Too much animal fat. Organic kefir may be ok, but most dairy was off the diet for 18 months. Lynda At 06:43 PM 11/18/2007, you wrote: >Lynda, > >You're lactose intolerate, aren't you? . . . Guest guest
I bet she does too. Those gastric bypass bands are made of silicone, and those never come out, do they? Don't they live with those bands in them the rest of their life? There are so many people who react to silicone. I wish the medical field would finally admit this. No, they don't have to admit that every person gets sick from silicone. But it is criminal that they are NOT acknowledging that some people do, and leaving them to suffer like this!!!!! It makes me so angry! Guest guest
Rogene, I know. She refuses to listen. I can preach all I want but she will do what she wants to do. She does not care. Lynn Re: Re: Lupus Board Lynn, Cancer feeds on sugar . . . That's why they have one drink a super-sweet drink laced with radioactive material when they do PET scans . . . It goes directly to malignencies, lighting one up like a Christmas tree if they have widespread cancer. Even more than you, she needs to be on a very healthy diet!
