Guest guest Posted June 7, 2001 Report Share Posted June 7, 2001 Vicki, Hello. I have a German Shepard. He is a year and a half old and a big baby!! I just love him to death! Unfortunately, we just shaved him because we are having such a problem with ticks and with his long fur it was hard to see them. I have live in Fla a long time and always had dogs and never had such a problem. I feel bad because we shaved him. He is 95 pounds but looks so small now! That is great that you have so much for the kids to do close to the house. I am sure those seniors can be entertaining sometimes. lol. Take care. susan ,What kind of dog did you say you had? Sometimes the seniors are a pain in the butt....but it's better thanbeing in a housing development with another house really close in ourbackyard, we have a huge backyard, then there is the Sr.'s parking lot(just one row) then about 20 units with I think 4 apartments per unit,there is a really long driveway that goes down to the legion baseballfield, so the boys are down there alot playing or watching ballgames. We live in a pretty quiet neighborhood, lots of older people, but wealso live a block from the elementary school and across the street froma city park and the city swimming pool which is nice!
