Guest guest
Here is a recipe I will try soon. My sister sent it to me. I will replace the brown sugar with a small amount of maple syrup (real). This sounds absolutely delicious to me. Recipe: 2 cups baby carrots, cut into thirds or fourths, 2 to 3 cups butternut squash (any winter squash), cut into squares about the size of the carrots, 1 large or two med. granny smith apples (any tart apple),diced, 1 tsp. fresh marjoram, thyme or rosemary, or 1/4 tsp dried, 1 Tbsp chopped parsley 2 Tbsp brown sugar. Steam carrots for just a few minutes. In baking dish, put slightly cooked carrots, apples, sprinkle with parsley and whichever herb, a dash of salt, drizzle with melted butter or coconut oil and stir to coat, bake at 375 for 20 min. Remove from oven add squash pieces, bake 20 min. more. Increase oven temp to 450. Stir in brown sugar or maple syrup. Bake uncovered, for 15 to 20 min. until veggies are glazed. Can also have parsnips and baby beets. Increase herbs, etc. for additional ingredients. Longer cooking time for more veggies. Lynda
Guest guest
I am not sure it is a question of which would work better, but which would be safer. Both will work to kill off candida. Doctors will say that the Diflucan would work much better. Maybe it does. BUt it is also hard on the liver. Caprylic acid, while not a panacea, is very effective against candida. You have to take enough in high enough doses, as well as follow a common sense diet that avoids the major candida feeders...sugar, white flour, processed foods, high fructose corn syrups, etc. But most of all, caprylic acid is considered SAFE and natural, derived from coconuts. Guest guest
Yes, Whole Foods has grass-fed, hormone/antibiotic-free meats. Some locations also have organic meats...just depends on where you live. Wild Oats also has it. - PH > > > > > > PH ~ > > > Yes, my food desires have changed greatly. > > > I actually dont crave sweets anymore. Guest guest
If I feel up to it tomorrow I want to stop by Whole Foods to get a roast I can put in the crock pot with some veggies. My hubby went there yesterday but he only did a small shopping and that was the first time that he went there so he didn't know where anything was! > > > > > > > > PH ~ > > > > Yes, my food desires have changed greatly. > > > > I actually dont crave sweets anymore. Guest guest
PH, You can also sprinkle with a little lemon-herb seasoning for salmon, really tasty. Guest guest
If anyone has a Whole Foods near them and want to try something delicious and a little different...try the spicy baby moroccan lamb chops from the meat counter. They have all kinds of good spices on them like cinnamon, garlic and ginger...all good for killing our bad bacteria. Super easy, just bake them in the oven and serve w/ yogurt dip and a salad. - PH > > PH ~ > Yes, my food desires have changed greatly. > I actually dont crave sweets anymore.
