Guest guest
Hi everyone ok, so I was admitted in to the hospital last weekend, for what they thought was rejection of my transplanted pancreas, it was not that. Then they thought it was Diabetes type II, because my sugars were running between 110-130)as a transplant patient, it is a little elevated considering that for the past 5 years, I've been between 70-100); again, I was told it was not, today when I went to visit my doctor... However, I am gluclose tolerant, which basically, my prograff (anti rejection med) is resisting the insulin that my pancreas is producing, and I'm on a very low dose of Metformin(temporary), but in the mean time, any suggestions? I have to loose 15 more pounds(which is silly said the doctor because I am not over weight), but because I am tall, small frame, something like 10-15 pounds is alot , so besides following my low caloried, low, no sugar diet, or meal, plus going to the gym everyday, is there anything else? oh, and stress, a major issue on why this happened. so any suggestions would be appreciated. If not, just thanking for letting me to vent a little sugar " In the darkness, there is wonders of light that cannot be seen with the human eye " ~Sugar
